Review: ON 10.15.13 I dropped off my dry cleaning at Clark's Cleaners, claim#[redacted]. On 4.22.13 I went to pick up the dry cleaning, paid (INV#[redacted], 42.3. Clothes showed to be in system but staff could not locate. I was asked to drive to the Hamilton store because they were stored on their site. Drove over and no dry cleaning was found. I was asked to phone the next day. They were still looking and phoned the manager. Another week went by and I phoned again. I was told they were not responsible because clothes were there longer then 30 days. Since I only use the drive up window, I never saw any postings with regards to pick up. I also never received a phone call stating my clothes were being given away. I have spoken to [redacted], the store manager and she always promises to get back to me and I have not heard a word. There were a total of ten items with a retail cost of 1425.00.Desired Settlement: Replacement cost of the items plus a refund of the paid drycleaning

It is our policy that we are not responsible for items left over 30 days simply because we do not have the space to store for long periods of time. It is posted in our lobby and at our drive thru. We typically attempt to reach the customer before the items are given to various charitys. We usually do this every 3 to 6 months. The day she paid for the order and was sent to another location there was a new employee working. She should not have been charged before locating her items. We will gladley refund her for what she paid. We do vallue our customer, and it is unfortunate that that she did not pick her items up in time. Thank you ; [redacted] ###-###-####

Rude staff, they will not take a digital copy of their "coupon'". Expensive and subpar dry cleaning. They return clothing stained and damaged.

Review: Along with a number of other clothes, I brought a pair of blood-stained jeans to Clark's to be dry cleaned on April 5, 2013. The counter clerk marked the jeans as requiring special attention for blood. I picked the clothes up later that day, and they did not tell me they couldn't remove the stain when I paid for my clothes. They said nothing about my order, and simply passed off their poor service without a word. I discovered that the stain had not been addressed that evening and took the jeans back to the dry cleaners on April 6 to ask them to address the stain or refund my money. They refused to do anything about my claim at all. When reputable dry cleaners are unable to address problems with garments, they tell their customers they had a problem at the very least. This dry cleaners presented the clothes as if they had been properly cleaned. Dry cleaners routinely deal with blood stains. Either this dry cleaners doesn't know how to address blood stains or they didn't address the stain at all. In either event, I see no reason that I should have to pay for their shoddy work. I was visiting Spokane for that weekend only and feel they took advantage of the fact that I do not live there. I have laundered blood-stained clothes with great success many times over the years and have also had dry cleaners address blood stains with success in the past. This company expects that I should pay for their service even though they didn't address the stain? A reputable company would have tried to fix the issue or offered a refund of the amount.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and a refund of the entire amount ($71.18). I think they counted on the fact that I was from out of town and wouldn't be able to pursue my claim in small claims.
