Clark's HVAC Reviews (2)

Review: I paid the amount of $130 TWO times for an annual service contract for my heating and cooling system. Our heating system has been vibrating and shaking and I have called this business's phone # countless times over the past THREE weeks, leaving messages asking them to come check it out. None of my calls have been returned. This morning "Clark" finally answered and then proceeded to shout "hello? hello? I can't hear you!" before hanging up on me (my connection was perfectly clear). That was the final straw. This business is disreputable. Their website claims "With 24/7 response time and our exclusive no-risk warranty ...."So far the response has been TERRIBLE and the risk was quite high.Desired Settlement: I just want this business to uphold their service contract and come when I call! If they do not respond to this complaint within a few days, then I want a full refund of my service contract fee.

Response:

I have been trying to reach you so that I can answer your question about Clark's HVAC. The simple answer is yes, Mr. Clark did refund us SOME of the money we paid for our service agreement. Actually he refunded us only half of it to be exact. This was only after I contacted Revdex.com and the CSLB of California. He never had the courtesy of calling us and explaining why he refused to honor the service agreement he had us pay twice for. The motor on our HVAC wound up being the cause for all the noise we were hearing and it eventually gave out and stopped working in the middle of winter. We had to hire another company to come and fix it, but since we had no service agreement with them we had to pay full price for a brand new motor - something that would have been covered under the service agreement we had with Mr. Clark. So to sum things up, I'm happy we got a partial refund for an agreement Mr. Clark chose not to honor. I would have been happier if he upheld his end of the service agreement so we would not have wound up having to pay for a brand new motor for our heating system in the middle of winter.

Response:

Customer was refunded their money in January 2014.

Review: June 1, 2013 I hired Clark's HVAC who charge $175 to replace a switch that was used. [redacted] wired both 50 amp wires using 20 amps of wire at vital connection points. He pealed 50 amp wire like a banana, only 20 amp of wire made contact. This caused a large load draw and last August 2013 it burned my main buss bar on 50 amp AC breaker. August 28, 2014 Clark's HAVC fire hazard connection blew my AC compressor. The total damage from Clark's HVAC is $5,000. A lawsuit may be filed.Desired Settlement: Pay $2,000 within 30 days or pay $5,000 in lawsuit.
