Response: In response to the complaint: The customer's contract price was $3900.00. The customer paid us a down payment of $1610.00 on May 3, 2016. The pool materials...
were delivered on June 7. At the time of delivery, she paid us $1615.00. The day her pool was installed, she paid to the subcontractor, $675.00. Those 3 payments equal the amount of the contract, $3900.00. At no time, is there any documentation that she has paid anyone an additional $300.00. The old pool that was in her yard when the installer arrived to install the new pool, was unknow of to the installer. The installation crew did not charge the customer any extra for taking down the old pool. Typically, the charge for doing this is $400.00. Since they did not charge the homeowner any extra for taking down the old pool, they did not remove it from the yard. It was left for the homeowner to dispose of. Had the homeowner been charged, they would have removed it from the jobsite. As far as the yard being "dug up", the install consisted of excavation with a bobcat. Any type of excavation with equipment will leave tracks in a yard. All customers are aware of that prior to construction. They are given all documentation about that when they purchase a pool. If the homeowner has any parts falling off of the new pool...We suggest them contacting our store so that can be addressed accordingly. As far as the $300? Not sure how she gathered she paid an additional $300.00 Sent on: 10/6/2016 1:52:15 PM [redacted]
