Clarksville Gas & Water

this company has a monopoly over the clarksville market and due to this they have ridiculous pricesi had my water cut the day after my bill was paid and had to pay outragous fee's to turn on a $water billI refuse to do business with this company and will be moving out of clarksville in the near future

Very poor customer service When I first called with concerns the representative a
was argumentative and spoke over me I shrugged off my first negative experience as an isolated event with a rep having a bad day however I have received the same poor customer service several times since I waited weeks on a deposit check that never came and upon calling I found they sent it to the wrong address (the rep didn't include my apartment number and I live in a large complex) I was told they would investigate and call back Weeks later I had yet to hear back from them and I called again looking for the checkThey very rudely informed me it had been cashed and there was nothing they could doI asked where it was cashed and who I should contact as this was check fraud and they told me it was my problem to find this information and they couldn't tell me anything elseHaving worked in customer service myself I can empathize with being busy and having phone calls that require some extra work and I also understand the reps have limited information, but the tone of your voice and listening skills can go a long way towards making a call pleasant for the customerThe check in question was not a large amount and at this point I have given up as it is not worth my time to hear multiple reps argue with me as their word trumphs mine
