Our experience with Clarksville Pool on College Street has been terrible Last May, 2015, we pre-paid them to replace the pool liner in our above ground pool and they did a very poor job A small crew of non-English speaking Hispanics (or so they claimed not to understand English) showed up and took apart our pool on one day then came back about a week later to install the new liner They did not tamp the sand floor before installing the new liner, did not make an attempt to remove any wrinkles in the new liner, and they left debris under the new liner that could eventually wear a hole in the new liner This crew left trash in our yard from their fast food lunches that my wife had to pick up and they left the old pool liner laying in our grass, killing the grass underneath, before I dragged it myself to the driveway The crew finally showed up after almost three weeks from when the project was started to remove the old liner and retrieve their equipment My wife made attempts last year to get someone to come out and correct the situation before just giving up She personally walked into their office and spoke to the person in the office who claimed to be the owner's daughter We never heard from the owner or the installation crew On May, 2016, I was able to finally speak to the owner by phone He did come out and look at the pool for about minutes but said it was all and seen nothing wrong He offered to get his crew out "in a couple weeks" to try and get the wrinkles out, but did not offer to fix the sand underneath or removing the debris under the liner that will eventually cause leaks The owner stated they never tamp the sand before installing a liner All the instructional videos I watched on-line show the requirement to tamp the sand prior to putting a new liner in an above ground pool The owner also claimed that no one ever contacted him when it was first installed incorrectly last year Beware of this company's workmanship The owner doesn't seem to have integrity and they require customer's to pre-pay We will never do business with them again and will continue to advise others to go elsewhere
Our experience with Clarksville Pool on College Street has been terrible. Last May, 2015, we pre-paid them to replace the pool liner in our above ground pool and they did a very poor job. A small crew of non-English speaking Hispanics (or so they claimed not to understand English) showed up and took apart our pool on one day then came back about a week later to install the new liner. They did not tamp the sand floor before installing the new liner, did not make an attempt to remove any wrinkles in the new liner, and they left debris under the new liner that could eventually wear a hole in the new liner. This crew left trash in our yard from their fast food lunches that my wife had to pick up and they left the old pool liner laying in our grass, killing the grass underneath, before I dragged it myself to the driveway. The crew finally showed up after almost three weeks from when the project was started to remove the old liner and retrieve their equipment. My wife made 3 attempts last year to get someone to come out and correct the situation before just giving up. She personally walked into their office and spoke to the person in the office who claimed to be the owner's daughter. We never heard from the owner or the installation crew. On 3 May, 2016, I was able to finally speak to the owner by phone. He did come out and look at the pool for about 5 minutes but said it was all normal and seen nothing wrong. He offered to get his crew out "in a couple weeks" to try and get the wrinkles out, but did not offer to fix the sand underneath or removing the debris under the liner that will eventually cause leaks. The owner stated they never tamp the sand before installing a liner. All the instructional videos I watched on-line show the requirement to tamp the sand prior to putting a new liner in an above ground pool. The owner also claimed that no one ever contacted him when it was first installed incorrectly last year. Beware of this company's workmanship. The owner doesn't seem to have integrity and they require customer's to pre-pay. We will never do business with them again and will continue to advise others to go elsewhere.
