This is in response to the attached letter we received today 4/21/2016.This vehicle was sold to Ms. [redacted] on 02/12/2016 AS IS, attached you will find the AS IS statement she signed on the date of purchase, before signing the statement Ms. [redacted] was advised as to what AS IS meant and that Clary's Used...

Cars would make no repairs to the vehicle after purchase.  The vehicle was sold with a current VA inspection and we knew of nothing wrong with it at the time of sale.  We also have no way of knowing what she may have run over in the road or pot holes she may have hit in the road to cause damage to the car.We are a used car dealer and have been in business for 30 plus years and sell all vehicles AS IS and explain to each customer what this means.If you have further questions please contact me.Sincerely,Marcia * R[redacted]

The problem has not been resolved. My car is still in the same exact condition

Review: My complaint is about my car that I brought about a month ago. Not even 30 days after I brought it I started having problems with it. I called and asked Clary's if they could fix the car and they said no. So I took it to a few other auto shops to get it looked at. The problem is that I need a new strut and cv joints. I have a leak in my exhaust as well. The mechanic told us that was a very serious problem because the entire tire could come off. My main problem is that, if Clary's knew that was the problem with the car then they shouldn't have put on the paper that there were no fault. I could have easily been traveling to class and my tire could have came off. Also my aunt has brought a car from the same people and she was driving and her axle broke. That's a serious concern. I just wish they would be honest about the vehicles they are selling. You should sell someone a car in the same condition you would want one to be sold to you. My car makes all this knocking noise when I drive and steer, the guy at this transmission repair shop right next to Clary's said that a mount or something was loose.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to either fix my car at no cost, refund me my down payment and first payment or give me another vehicle with no problems
