Good Afternoon,My apologies for the delay in responding to this complaint. I simply overlooked it in my inbox. Thank you for the reminder.I'm not quite sure why [redacted] is upset. We did not give him... his credit score because we did not have it. Given the circumstances of his approval, there was no reason for us to meddle in his personal credit history because the lender approved him at their very best tier. I would hope that it would be appreciated that we respected his privacy and that we prevented two inquiries from appearing on his credit bureau.They're may be some dealers that run credit scores with the strategy of finding something in the report that will be used against the customer in order to find a way to increase the rate given to the customer. We do not engage in that practice. We simply submit the credit application to the bank and wait for their decision. If the lenders decision is an unfavorable one, then we will run the customers credit report to see if we can learn something that will help the customer receive a more favorable tier and rate. As you can see in the attachment, the credit approval came back with a tier 1 approval which is the best rate available. The lender does not disclose the credit score but a tier 1 approval implies that [redacted] has very good credit. There was no need for us to pry into his personal affairs. On January **, 2010, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) jointly issued final rules implementing the risk-based pricing requirements under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) (January 2010 Final Rules). These rules generally require a creditor to provide a consumer applying for credit with a notice when, based on the consumer's credit report, the creditor provides credit to the consumer on less favorable terms than it provides to other consumers.As Angel's credit history did not cause the lender to give him a less favorable rate, there was no need for us to run his personal credit history again after an inquiry was already made by the lender.As for the dealer who informed [redacted] that we are "supposed "to provide him with his credit score, I recommend that he receive further training. Classic Audi is the best place to get new or pre owned Audi in Westchester. Dealership was great .called around and got best pricing here by far !

Please accept our apologies for not explaining our refund policy more clearly and with a bit more finesse. In such cases where we receive payments or deposits in cash, it is our company policy to issue checks when a refund is requested. We don't deviate from policy in matters such
as these. We will not be charging a re-stocking fee. All we ask is for a name and address to which we can the refund to, once the parts have been returned. Thank you for understanding.  That solution could have been offered on site. I don't see why it needed to escalate this far for that to happen. I understand I'm not the only customer here, but I have spent ALOT of money at this location, and no one but me seems to care.

 Classic Audi claim of my vehicle not having issues is incorrect. I called Town Audi last week to take my vehicle in for a check up but was notified again that the vehicle warranty is voided.  The reason I called is because periodically when I start the vehicle up the rpm needle fluctuates and the engine makes abnormal noises. Then when I drive the vehicle it seems very sluggish, when I press the gas pedal the car moves very slowly and lazily. When this occurs I pull over and turn the vehicle off and turn it on again. Sometimes it works after the first restart and sometime it takes 2 restarts. This has been happening for the last 3 weeks. As I stated in my complaint I'm worried I will continue to have additional problems due to this chip in the future. I believe this is the reason Audi voids the warranty on the vehicle once it has been chipped. Once again if I knew this vehicle was chipped when I went to purchase it I would not have bought it. I was falsely lead to buying this car which I thought was free of defects per Audi certification process

Review: I brought my car in for service on sept [redacted]13 at [redacted] miles, informing service advisors of a noise I was hearing coming from the front passenger side of the car while in motion as well as the car idles louder then usual and check engine light is on dash. Service center mad the "following repairs" cataytic converter, motor mounts, wheel bearing. I picked my car up on sept [redacted]13 at [redacted] around 11:** am. I Noticed at time of pickup the steering was extremely difficult as well as the thermostat was indicating higher then normal levels I had ever seen in my car. Called Audi back at 12:**pm making [redacted] aware of my findings and asking if it was because it was recently serviced. He responded no asked if there was any warning lights/ indicators on, and there wasnt. He told me he could schedule and appointment for me on Thursday 9/** but no audi rental until friday 9/**. I drove the car to work, notice the car was indicating "h" on the thermostat asking me to shut car off remove keys and check fluids. I called Audi had car towed and bought in on 9/**. Now issue is costing me $985 Audi claiming its not there fault and warrenty wont cover it, however they "test drove" my car almost 30 miles, my car had NO ISSUES WITH POWER STEERING PREVIOUSLY.Desired Settlement: Audi takes full responsibility and covers all cost and repairs at there own expense considering there was no issues around power steering previous to services/ repairs done by this facility.

Mr. [redacted]'s car needed two repairs. One is a water pump and the other is a cervotronic which is located on the end of his steering column. Mr. [redacted] has a non Audi extended warranty on his vehicle that did not cover the cervotronic part. His water pump was covered by his extended warranty of which he owes a deductible. While his vehicle was here on Sept ** we did replace the Catalytic converter for the engine light. We also replaced motor mounts and a wheel bearing for his two noise complaints. Below is a copy of his service order:

Also Mr. [redacted] is has been in my our loaner car since

9/** with the water pump repaired. He has not committed to the cervotronic

repair and need to pick up his vehicle. We have offered **0.00 towards the repair. He has also contacted [redacted] for assistance and I told them what happen and also gave them a copy of his service order. It also states on his service order that he could be charged storage 48 hrs. after his car is completed.

Classic Audi will pay for the part as a goodwill gesture ($357.00). We

do not have any obligation for a part that has failed in Mr. [redacted]'s car but since he is a customer we will assist in the repair.
