Received call from owner Eyad ***, providing business response
Mr *** indicates that the Town & Country van (as well as the Hyundai Santa Fe Mr *** was ultimately traded into) was purchased "as is", but that Classic Auto has made
a number of offers to the customer and attempted to work with him in good faith to reach a resolution
He says when Mr *** first reported issues with the Town & Country, Classic Auto had him bring it back and replaced the main seal at a cost of about $When the customer returned saying he believed it had another leak, the dealer could not find anything wrong with it at that point, but offered Mr *** the Santa Fe as a service loaner while it was being looked at
Mr *** says at various points in his dealings with Mr ***, Classic Auto offered to allow him to return the Town & Country for full purchase price, and cut the customer a check for $1,to resolve the issue, effectively reducing the sale price of the vehicle to about $
He says Mr *** ultimately opted to trade into the Hyundai Santa Fe as a resolution and initially said he liked the SUV, but now seems focused on trading back into another van
Mr *** says that despite Mr ***'s "as is" purchase, Classic Auto presented him with a number of potential resolutions, and ultimately allowed him to trade into a different vehicle
But he says Classic Auto has offered as much good will assistance as it can on "as is" purchase, and cannot assist further at this time

He has made claims again ,as seems his mode of operationI never brought the van home after the first noise and tremendous leak was discovered He said his mechanic could NOT fix it I was without a vehicle for week as I wrote in the complaint He then as I further mentioned offered this Hyundai as a TEMPcar to drive until he could find me nice van And to put it in his words " I'll treat you like family , because you said you trusted me i'll find you a nice van and trade you EVEN up for the Santa fe " Obviously he can't be trusted as i've heard the same complaints from another buyer
