I just received verification that MrS***'s plates and registration have been mailed to him. The effective date on the registration indicates his state finished them on Jan 22nd. They may have already arrrived. If not, MrS*** can expect them shortly. The package was shipped with "signature required."

We agree that the situation we (along with Mr. S[redacted]) are in is unfortunate. Mr. S[redacted] purchased a vehicle from us in late December. The contract was dated Dec 24th. Mr. S[redacted] is in Boston MA. Our dealership is in Galveston Texas. Obviously, we are not as...
familiar with the process in MA as we are the process in Texas. We provided Mr. S[redacted] with a temporary license plate that is valid until mid February. We contracted a company who specializes in out of state title work to aid in the process. We have used their service to title vehicles in numerous states without issue. We processed his paperwork, and sent it on to MA for titling, registration, etc. Our paperwork arrived in MA somewhere around the 9th of January. It is our understanding that the folks at the State office work their paperwork "as they get to it." We incurred an additional $467 fee for the paperwork because they did not work it within 20 days of the contract date. We paid the fee to insure Mr. S[redacted] would have his paperwork as quickly as possible. At least seven of our employees have been actively involved in this situation. We are doing everything possible to help Mr. S[redacted].
Mr. S[redacted] is correct that he has called the dealership numerous times. It has been our experience that Mr. S[redacted] can be very difficult to deal with over the telephone. He is extremely aggressive to the point that I asked the sales department to handle the communications rather than our title clerk. Our title clerk was unable to complete her work with Mr. S[redacted] upsetting her. We deal with different personalities often, and have no issue with Mr. S[redacted]'s [redacted]. We just needed a better solution internally to communication with him.
We value Mr. S[redacted]'s business. Our goal is to provide outstanding customer service during and after the sale. However, we are not willing to pay Mr. S[redacted]'s payment. We feel we have upheld our end of this agreement. We have spared no expense (monetarily or manpower) to help Mr. S[redacted].
