[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My car was repaired improperly I did not hit anything once the vehicle was returned to me The grill cover came off when I was driving home from work, I heard a strange noise and when I checked my car I realized the replacement part (liner) was wrapped around my tire, which I had to remove in order to drive my car safely When I was on the highway the grill came off causing me to run over the part which made my tire blow out Currently the grill came off again after it was repaired for the 2nd time I have placed it in my trunk for storage I believe the shop is using aftermarket parts that are not fitting properly on my car After speaking with the adjuster, the body shop did not report to Progressive Insurance they were using aftermarket parts It is upsetting to hear the owner making statements that I am trying to get “money” as a result of the issues I have been experiencing after they repaired my car As a consumer I am insulted that he would make such an accusation when dealing with a disgruntled consumer after experiencing so much difficulty with the vehicle after it has been repaired If I was trying to gain money from this company I would have mentioned that I lost two days of wages (as I am a contractor) from work I am only requesting money for my car having to need roadside assistance on the highway as well as a replacement tire which I have receipts for The owner also made claims they never experienced a negative report from past consumers in years I went on “***” to check to see if there were any such complaints or accusations and sure enough there was a consumer who had similar issues, thus prompting my request to the Revdex.com The gentleman who came with me to the shop was my friend’s father He only came with me because I did not feel comfortable talking to the owner as he kept yelling at me over the phone and was very dismissive He was acting as if he was doing me a favor and was not taking me serious as a consumer At no time during the conversation between the three of us did my friend’s father agree with him stating that I “hit something on the highway” He simply came to support me as he understood I was feeling intimidated by the owner of the shop I also have video footage of the damage I can send to show the faulty work done by the body shop I only used this body shop because the owner was driving the tow truck and was on the scene of the accident and he assured me his shop guarantees their work for life I was still in shock due to the traumatic accident, so I agreed thinking I was in good hands I would have normally used the repair shop the insurance company recommends, but due to me being shaken up and nervous I just went with him because he made me feel comfortable But now I believed I have been taken advantage of as my car has not been the same since I received it back from the body shop I don’t want any other consumer to have to go through the same thing I did As a resolution, I am asking to have all monies I spent (roadside assistance off the highway and new tire) returned as well as my deductable that I gave originally to have my car repaired The deductable would be used to take my car to another body shop to be repaired correctly Regards, [redacted] ***

We received a call from [redacted] on Monday 8/stating that her vehicle had an issue and could not be driven as it wouldn't start We responded immediately and sent a tow truck to her home to tow it in After inspecting the car, we found that four parts had been torn from her car [redacted] was a very nice customer so I offered to help her out with her dilemma It is my belief that she hit something on I-that tore the lower shield and both fender liners and the lower grille in the bumper These parts are plastic and fastened in multiple places There is no way that they would just fall off of the car as she believes and can not cause damage to a tire The four parts were ordered and installed the next morning She was very unhappy that she was going to miss work I specifically informed her that this was not a result of our workmanship but I was willing to take care of it for her The car needed to be towed because her battery was dead which was also not a result of our workmanship We charged her battery, installed the four new parts and towed her car for free I believe we went above and beyond for her Her brother came with her to pick up the car and after I explained what happened, he too agreed that she had hit something We have never had a customer complaint like this in years and I feel that she is trying to get money from us Money that she doesn't deserve I would like to discuss this further with one of your representatives as soon as possible to rectify the issue PLease call me directly on my cell phone @ ###-###-#### I have attached a copy of the additional parts that we purchased for her.Joe P [redacted] Owner
