*SEE ATTACHMENTS*Hi! This is in response to a service ordered by Regina ***, *** *** ***, *** **Mrs*** contacted us on March 31, 2015, for an estimate and started a partial service program with us on April 13, When she called she asked us to include the neighbors property
in the measurement to receive preferential price treatment and asked to be called ahead for the measurementWhen we went to inspect the lawns to quote a price for service, she was not home, but her husband wasHe informed us, at that time, they had other lawn care companies so our price better be very, very good! Reason being, his wife was very good at getting great discounts on anything they purchasedWe quoted a discounted price (featuring FREE Grub Control to begin service) for them and the neighbor (Mr***)We supplied the services in Both ***'s and *** said we did an excellent jobWe contact all of our-customers in spring, by mail, stating the services they are scheduled for, asking changes to the service schedule, notifying of price, offering a pre-season discount, etcEnclosed is a copy of Mrs***'s spring letterWe did Rounds and 2, talking to Mrs*** on her drive when we were there for Round 2, Also, we talked to Mr*** (the neighbor) at each service, Rounds 1, and Grub Preventative, No one, in all the communications, said to change the schedule or they did not want the program they were scheduled forWe applied service the same as the year beforeNext thing we know Mrs*** called and said she was not paying for the Grub service, she did not want itWe talked with the neighbor who was part of the special pricing, at time of Grub service, he said his lawn looked good, we did a good job, thanks! We would still have him as a customer today if Mrs*** would still be neighborly to him but she wasn't until he agreed to stop service alsoWe told him he had to live beside her so we understand, we appreciated his past business and wished him well! Mrs*** had sent in a $payment for the service (with a note, see back of spring letter), which she hoped covered our expense for the Grub PreventativeShe sent in a partial payment because she knows she owes for the serviceWe advised Mrs*** we were not making her a deal on the Grub Preventative applied that her neighbor was happy with and paid forWe did not have a clue that Mrs*** did not want the Grub serviceShe called in a very bad mood and said she was going to "trash, trash, trash" our business everywhere if we wanted paid for services renderedThis must be the attitude her husband was warning of when we first met himWe expect to be paid $147.04, the balance for the service providedHer account will continue to run through the monthly billing cycle here until she ends up being turned over to our collection firmThere will be no adjustments! It is a bill she created, she owesThis will be our final communication with the Revdex.com on this matter.Sincerely,Sue

I am rejecting this response because:
Dear Revdex.com, As Classic Lawn Care refuses to take responsibility for this erroneous charge on my bill, the matter remains very much unresolved and I request that you do not close this complaint. I will not be paying for something that I did not order. While it is not my fault that this miscommunication has occurred, I still felt compelled to send in a partial payment to help cover some of the costs that Classic Lawn Care incurred to apply the grub preventative that I didn't request. My partial payment was to help smooth things over since both parties are upset over this misunderstanding. This is supposedly a professional business that I'm dealing with, so I expected to be met halfway after sending a partial payment for something I don't even owe. If Classic Lawn Care sends the bill to collections, I will simply inform the collections company that the bill is an error, and no attempt to collect this bill will ever succeed. Classic Lawn Care needs to accept responsibility for what happened, and stop treating me, their customer, this way. I've never known a business to be so rude and unwilling to reconcile with an established client, especially one that has referred other customers to them.I am enclosing a picture of what my lawn looked like at the time the grub preventative was applied.  Please notice all the crab grass and ground ivy.  This is after having two weed and feed treatments to eradicate this problem this year and three treatments  last year by Classic Lawn Care.  If they would have discussed applying grub preventative I would have declined and brought to their attention the condition of my lawn and suggested further treatment for the weeds that we shouldn't have had.  Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,Regina [redacted]
