Please close this complaintThere is nothing further to accomplishWe have processed the cancellation and refunded the full amount to the customerThank You
The customer bought the vehicle on 9/1/2011. The had 13,583 miles. The vehicle was a certified pre owned Nissan which qualified for a Certified Wrap policy which was purchased by the customer for $1183.00 . As with all certified warranties and wrap policies, issued by Nissan, they all start at...
the original in service. We processed the cancellation and sent a check for 426.70. I apologize for the inconvenience the customer endured. The policy is quite specific on how to cancel the policy. However Nissan always sends the cancellation funds to the originating dealer. That is why the customer had to re-contact the dealership. Again I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately the is no process available for ful reimbursement, the customer did have the benefit of the policy for their time of ownership. As with any other insurance product there is no refund for not using the policy only for cancellation of unearned premium. If there are any other questions please feel free to reach out to me.[redacted]General ManagerClassic Cars Nissan

I am rejecting this response because: I feel I was misled at the time of the purchase ... We were told that the vehicle came with the original 3 year, 36,000 manufacturers warranty and because it was a pre owned certified vehicle a warranty of 6 years, 84,000 was included in the price of the vehicle ... I was told the "extended" warranty that I purchased for $1135 extended that warranty to 100,000 or 7 years ... At no time was I told that the warranty I was purchasing would run in conjunction with the warranty already on the vehicle ... When I traded in the car I was well under the original warranty ... I also provided a letter that NO service was ever provided to the vehicle under ANY of the warranties .... I have received the check for $426.70 and am looking for reimbursement of $708.30 ...

I am rejecting this response because: your business practices regarding the selling of warranties should be looked into by someone who has the ability to prevent you from continuing to lie to your customers ... How can you in good faith state that my warranty started when I drove the car off the lot when there was still 23,000 miles left on the original "new" car warranty ... I will continue to file claims until I receive satisfaction ...
