I am writing in response to the above referenced complaint. Classic. Cottages is completely befuddled by [redacted]'s position on this matter. Here are the facts:We purchased this property in early April 2017. The property consists of 3 separate houses and parcels, aii previously owned by one family....

We immediately advised all the tenants (1 house was vacant, the other two were rented, including the house [redacted] lives in) that we had purchased the property and would eventually be demolishing these houses and building new houses. At that time, we specifically offered both groups of renters the opportunity to secure a lease with us through the end of October, which we believed coincided with our development schedule,Both groups declined the opportunity to secure a lease, both wanted to stay on a month to month basis. There was absolutely no inference or commitment made by Classic Cottages that anyone could stay through any date at any time, the only governing document between LS was the month to month lease that states that either party could provide 30 days' Notice to the other of either their intent to end the lease. These terms were included in; the lease that we inherited when we acquired the property that [redacted] had signed.On or about July 10th, we provided Notice to [redacted]'s group that they would need to vacate the property at the end of August (providing more Notice period than is actually required). The other group had already made plans to vacate the property on their own accord effective July 31, so they had no issue.Based on his accusations, it would appear [redacted]'s problem is of his own making. He specifically declined an opportunity to secure a formal lease extension that he was offered, then knowing full well the house he was living in was scheduled to be demolished at some in the near future, accepts an overseas work commitment with no plans whatsoever to address his month to month lease status. And now blames Classic Cottages for his personal decisions and makes unfounded, slanderous, and libelous accusations on internet chat forums and through the Revdex.com.[redacted] is selectively taking excerpts and or misconstruing email communications when were discussing a lease extension, with both of tenants. There was never any agreement, nor any offer whatsoever by Classic Cottages to have [redacted] or any other tenant operate under any other terms or conditions except the lease. It could have been extended formally or it could stay month to month. He chose month to month and now apparently regrets that decision.We have attempted to cooperate and make suggestions to [redacted] to help him address his problem regarding removal of his personal belongings from the house by the end of August. We are willing to help him in reasonable way that we can, but his tactics of spreading disparaging comments to anyone who will listen have to stop and he must retract or remove . the negative internet posts immediately.

Classic Cottages, LLC is not responsible for crawlspace issues. JES will have to warranty their work directly to you.
This warranty shall begin on the day of Settlement, April 18, 2014.  Normal wear and tear and failure to properly maintain items are excluded, as well as trees.
