***Response to Revdex.com complaint *** Classic Deck Impressions had an initial consultation with both Mr& Mrs*** regarding a deck and fence replacement for their rear yardThe deck
portion was straight forward with no issuesMrs*** requested a low maintenance fence which retained the natural look of woodThe first option I did costing for came in aproxTwice what their budget allowedI promised that I would research all available options for their projectMrs*** found a possible option on line with a large box storeDuring my research of this product, found this to be a very low quality product that did not have all of the required matching components such as fence posts and gatesI found an alternative solution from a local vinyl fabricatorI went to their location and got samples of colors and took those to the homeowners for reviewThey chose to move forward with the entire project with Classic Deck ImpressionsWe removed and replaced the existing deckDuring the final stages of the deck potion, Mr***questioned an 11” space that we left between the existing fence and new deckI simply explained that it would be taken care of at the time the fence was installedI should have explained this in greater detail to Mr*** to remove any doubts or miscommunicationsWhen the fence is completed we will install matching decking boards parallel to the fence creating a seamless transition between the deck and fenceThe current space is required to allow space for the new fence post holes to be dugDue to an unforeseen circumstance which took place which had nothing to do with Classic Deck Impressions and the homeowners communication became suspect at bestThis was not on the part of Mr& Mrs***I personally spoke with Mr*** on September @ 10:a.mI explained the situation in great detail as well as offered my apologyHe stated that he understood and just wants better communication and his project completeWe decided to meet at their home on evening of Tuesday September to discuss the plan to finish the projectDuring this meeting both Mr& Mrs*** expressed their satisfaction with the finished portion of the projectI explained in great detail the plans to finish the project as well as provided the homeowners a gift card to a local eatery as an apology for the poor communicationWe came up with a plan that I would find out the status of the fence order and provide that with them on Wednesday September I had communication with Mr*** on Thursday September where I notified him that the vinyl fabricator is requesting a deposit of $I told him I would pick it up and personally deliver it to the Vinyl companyHe stated he needed a few days to move fundsI sent him a follow up text on September I am waiting on a response for this textThese homeowners are very good family oriented peopleMy lack of communication created this issueMy goal is simply to make these homeowners happy customers.
