The WORST! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are understaffed and under equipped. My move was scheduled for Sat between 9:30 and 10:30 AM. I got a call the evening before that they had a truck break down and wouldn't be able to get the mechanic to look at it until the next morning. So now we are looking at noon-ish. At this point, start thinking of alternative solutions (ie. RENT A TRUCK!). Then I hear around noon that the truck can't be repaired, but they are going to get to me after the other 2 jobs are done (ummmm, what happened to the crew from the other truck? Still... rent a truck! Back up plan!). Then I get a call that the movers are overheated and can't do it that day. WHAT???????
They then ask to reschedule for MONDAY! 2 days later! I am stuck in limbo at this point and thankfully closed on my house a week early so I had a little leeway to get out of my apartment. Can you refer me to someone that could do the job Sunday? No. Anyone else would need at least a week to schedule me. Any other movers? No. Apparently they have no other movers/labor they could schedule on Sunday? So...Monday it is.
Monday rolls around and they don't call me on the way to my apartment. I call them. Oh, they are there already. WHAT? I'm on my way. I get there, where are they? Not there. Someone walked off the job and didn't want to work that day. OMG, are you even kidding me right now? So they are trying to round up a couple guys that want to work Monday. Finally, a couple guys show up at 11:15 AM. One was his first day for the company, the other guy didn't even actually work for the company, just a buddy that wanted to earn some money for the day? All my belongings are in the hands of these guys.
It takes them over 6 hours to get a one bedroom apartment moved (and I had already moved a lot of boxes, the closet and clothes). They didn't wrap my furniture and damaged multiple pieces. They BROKE my futon, my sofa got dirty from their dirty hands and setting it, fabric side, on the ground outside. They gave me 10% off for all this hassle. Oh, and I had to miss a day of work because they couldn't do the job on Saturday as promised. This pushed my whole schedule out 2 days, I spent several nights unpacking and cleaning and closing out the old apartment until 2 AM that week (which affected my work as well).
When I called (several times) to complain and let them know about my dissatisfaction, I got no apology, just excuses. When I emailed and asked for some kind of assistance with the repair and cleaning of my furniture, I got absolutely no response.
This company (which the real estate company I work for USED to recommend to clients on a regular basis) has dumbfounded me as far as customer service and problem solving. There were so many times and points that they could have saved this review from happening and they have made no effort. SHAMEFUL! Buyer beware!

1. On 1/30/2019, I hired Tom S and Classic Movers, to relocate me, from ***.

2. Tom had an experienced mover, he stated, was brand new had never moved furniture before.

3. During the course of my move, the following happened.

3.1. My bed frame had a screw drilled though it, causing a hole, that can’t be repaired.

3.2. My bed frame became scratched, so severe, that it actually, left marks in the wood.

3.3. My night stands were scratched.

3.4. My bed frame was incorrectly assembled.

3.5. The support pillars for the box springs and mattress were split in half due to his employees drilled them together.

3.6. The support posts for the back of my mirror was split in half as they too were incorrectly put together by his staff.

3.7. My daughters bed was missing screws, and many were loose due to how his staff put her bed together.

3.8. The legs on my couch were scratched so bad that they can't be salvaged.

3.9. The spacers on my bed were incorrectly placed, inches apart, rather than feet apart.

4. To make matters worse, the senior staff member on site, never bothered to Q.C. any of the work done, which would have remedied or at least addressed much of where we are at today. I never knew of any of this until 6 PM that evening. Tom and his staff, completely, violated my trust.

5. I went to make my bed at around 6:00 PM on 1/30/2019 and immediately noticed my bed frame installed upside down. And the bracket sticking up well above where it should be, on both sides of the bed.

5.1. I then noticed the screw sticking out the side of my bed as my hand ran across it.

5.2. I then noticed the wood on my bed scratched, so severe, that the wood itself looked like it had been engraved.

5.3. I immediately called Mr. S regarding this. He began yelling at me, screaming at me, asking me if I had a special bed, and telling me how in 50 years of being in business, he has never had this kind of problem. I sent him pictures, and called him back, and he put m

We moved Mr., He did have some damage that was done. We repaired the damage that had happen within 24 hours. Mr D has signed off from the damage. Mr. D is also involved in a small claims case with us . I wish I could say more but unlike Mr D I do not believe in manipulation, deceit and and false accusations to get what I want

The Night stands his couch were never an issue until days later. We are currently taking Mr. D to small claims court, and have multiple witnesses that can collaborate on the character of Mr. D.

Two t use again. Owner told us he would take care of our broken *** dinette. They couldn't find one and about 3 months of bull from him I said I would take a Patio table set. Finally I got a table. NO chairs,no responce ,even on contract it says still need chairs. Hello was great,management horrendous . I had to make all effort to contact them. No responce S since they dropped off a table. I guess they feel an $1800 travertine is same as a $250 Patio table with NO chairs. Look elsewhere people.
