Sectional sofa purchased on 9/23/2029
Bought sofa on 9/23/2020 noticed some defects took pictures sent to Jessica the owner sofa company is Mayo was told by Jessica they don’t know their policies so she’s waiting to hear back from company, not good policy for company selling products to not know policies of companies they purchase from but I’m waiting to hear back from Jessica. Jessica did sent one of her store people out to take a look they advised me they would take care of replacing one one the pillows but I haven’t even heard back anything about that she assured me she is talking now with the company Mayo and doing what this company is requiring her to do , I’m still waiting to hear something, I paid $2444.00 on 9/23/2020 . Sofa appears to possible being a resale which is definitely not good business from classic furniture. Before I purchased this sectional Jessica called me to let me know someone else was looking but she wanted me to have first choice that probably should’ve been my red flag but because I believe there are still good people in this world ,I felt kind of special . I’m waiting to hear from her soon

I am responding to your asking me if there was a provision on the order form stating that the company made no cash refunds only in store trades Yes, there is statement on the order form stating such In retrospect, I should have more fully read the order/sales form but I trusted the
salesman and didn't anticipate that the chair would be incompatible with my mother's means of transferring from her wheelchair to the recliner The chair was returned one day after its delivery with the tags intact on the chair It would seem reasonable to me that the store would refund me the purchase price minus $for their efforts in delivering and retrieving the chair

Response to Complaint:On May 11, 2016, *** *** special ordered a Power Recliner in the name of *** ***The power recliner was delivered on June 21, 2016, and Mr*** signed for the recliner, indicating the chair was in good condition.Mr*** called Classic Furniture and informed us that the nurses at *** *** *** *** did not like the chair because it was difficult to use with a lifting device.Classic Furniture picked up the chair on June at about 4:30PMEven though the chair was only used at the nursing home for a day and a half, it is still considered used and cannot be sold as newWe are required to advise anyone interested in buying the chair that it was returned merchandise and had been used in a nursing home.The invoice that Mr*** signed clearly states that there are no refunds for returned furniture, only in store creditsHis signature on the invoice at the time of purchase and delivery of the recliner indicates that he understood this.Mr*** or *** *** has an in store credit of $that they may use at anytime to purchase another chair or any other item in the store.I personally, have never talked to Mr***, I was told by other people in the store that Mr*** was harassing other customers as he was leaving the store.If you have any other questions, feel free to call the store at ###-###-####.Sincerely,*** ***
