Response to Complaint:On May 11, 2016, [redacted] special ordered a Power Recliner in the name of [redacted]. The power recliner was delivered on June 21, 2016, and Mr. [redacted] signed for the recliner, indicating the chair was in good condition.Mr. [redacted] called Classic Furniture and informed us that the nurses at [redacted] did not like the chair because it was difficult to use with a lifting device.Classic Furniture picked up the chair on June 23 at about 4:30PM. Even though the chair was only used at the nursing home for a day and a half, it is still considered used and cannot be sold as new. We are required to advise anyone interested in buying the chair that it was returned merchandise and had been used in a nursing home.The invoice that Mr. [redacted] signed clearly states that there are no refunds for returned furniture, only in store credits. His signature on the invoice at the time of purchase and delivery of the recliner indicates that he understood this.Mr. [redacted] or [redacted] has an in store credit of $533.93 that they may use at anytime to purchase another chair or any other item in the store.I personally, have never talked to Mr. [redacted], I was told by other people in the store that Mr. [redacted] was harassing other customers as he was leaving the store.If you have any other questions, feel free to call the store at ###-###-####.Sincerely,[redacted]
