Review: On July**,2013, I ordered a Paris Hammered Glass Beverage Dispenser as a Christmas gift for my daughter from Classic Hostess. When she opened it on Christmas, the lid is broken. The item number is HEB2727 and the order number is [redacted]. I contacted the company and was told that they would not accept returns after 30 days. Since the box was never opened, I never saw the receipt. I am now retired and really can't afford another $100.00 for this item. My daughter is so excited to have this item and I don't wish to disappoint her. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated.Sincerely[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like the entire dispenser replaced or we would be happy to simply return the lid and get a replacement part.

I read the complaint and I am sorry to hear that the customer received the lid damaged. As our policy is upon receiving the package our customer is asked to inspect the package upon arrival. Since it is glass and can break easily. Click on this link to see our policy [redacted]

I will go ahead and make an exception, since the customer was not aware of it and will refund her.
