replacement that meets Mr. [redacted] standards as yet. We are still in the process of investigating the situation concerning the gas tank appearance, gas neck angle and the sending unit for the gas tank.  If we can't supply the correct products for Mr. [redacted], we are prepared to issue a complete refund including all shipping costs. We are in contact with Mr. [redacted] and he is aware that we are working to rectify the complaint and hopefully fix the issue. Review: I ordered a part for my vehicle from named company. Part was defective. I contacted company, sent photos as directed and was given reference number [redacted]. They stated they would contact their vendor, even though I purchased item from them, as they represented themselves as the vendor and would be in contact with me regarding replacement/refund. I became frustrated with their lack of follow up and ordered replacement part, as car was at repair shop waiting..... They stated they would get back to me or send me an email regarding credit of my account, it has been over a week and all I get from them is THE RUNAROUND. I would like to know if my account has been credited or not. I find it offensive that I pay for a product thru a supposedly reputable company and when the product is defective they place the blame on another company. If they cannot replace the part they sold me then they should provide me contact information so I can contact their representative for replacement, whoever that may be. Their catalog DOES NOT state the part ordered is from a third party. Thank You for your assistance.Desired Settlement: refund for amount of second part which I had to order since they would not simply replace it. If they are not going to assist me then tell me and I will find another company for future purchase. If catalog is offering goods from a third party they should state as such with contact information to resolve faulty product replacemant.

Review: Good morning I recently purchased several parts from CLASSIC INDUSTRIES 18460 Gothard Street Huntington Beach, CA. 92648 . ###-###-#### and have done business with them before. The problem of concern is the item needs to be replaced and they have to check there inventory because the part was molded wrong the part is DEFECTIVE. This part is called outer grill trim (2) pieces this was the passenger side. Invoice # [redacted]. I sent (2) e-mails and called no response they never returned my call , I specified to write back via e-mail.This part is for a 1969 barracuda please look at pictures you will notice the stud doesnt line up with the factory slot.The 2nd pic shows the original stud location top , new one is the bottom stud to far left.There apologies now wont cover my hardship Thanks **Desired Settlement: wanted to talk with some one in administration dept to inform them that just by replacing the part my not correct my situation more customers may be involved. We had some difficulty trying to contact the customer when the complaint was received. However, since the complaint, we have been wroking with the customer to resolve the issue. Our last communication shows that our tech department was in contact with the customer and made some suggestions to resolve the issue. If the customer is not satisfied with the results, we will have the product returned and a full refund will be issued. We will be in touch with the customer to find out if our solution was acceptable. This item is a reproduction of the original grill trim item. Unfortunately, there is only once reproduction on the market. The item will fit but it requires some modification. We are currently notifying the factory of this issue and hope to get resolution soon. Please contact us for any additional information. We feel rhis issue will be resolved one way or another soon.

Review: Having issues getting a replacement dash that works in our car. First dash was wrong - Second dash shipped, but didn't arrive. This dash was supposed to be measured and verified it was correct. A third dash was sent but was also wrong. The first dash is in the car currenty and we have had no resolution from supplier.Desired Settlement: Billing adjustment or free parts

Review: I purchased a restoration part (#[redacted] hidden bed strips) online which stated that the nuts and bolts for the part were included. When I went to install the part it did not have the hardware as stated. I placed a call to the company and was told the nuts and bolts were not included and I was told I needed a separate hardware kit (#[redacted]). This kit contained a number of pieces I do not need and when it arrived I found that it does not contain the nuts and bolts that were supposed to be included for part #[redacted]. After searching online, in the company catalog and my discussion with the first customer rep, there appears to be no part number for the nuts and bolts. I placed a second call and asked for an RMA to return both part numbers at no out of pocket cost. I was told a manager was needed for authorization of an RMA but was unavailable to come to the phone and I would get a call back. I did not get a call nor were any messages left with call back numbers. I place a third call, asked directly for a manager, I still had to explain myself to a customer rep again and then was told a manager was "unavailable" and I would have to wait for a call back. I have wasted a number of hours of my time while I wait for an investigation of "what happened" to the orders I place. I would just like an RMA and the company can figure out their internal problems on their time.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the restoration part and hardware kit for a full refund of the purchase price, shipping, handling and insurance. I do not want to pay any shipping fees for the returns since they were missing parts and were misrepresented as containing parts they did not.

Review: I ordered a floor pan part[redacted] for my 73 [redacted]. I received a part that is not even close to being correct. I contacted CI on 4/21/15 for a return # per their return instructions. Spoke to a Rep in Tech Service who said he showed the part to be correct, requested photos of the part. I emailed photos on 4/21. I did not get a response. I had to call back and spoke to another Rep who was able to see that I had sent photos but had no answer. After explaining yet again, I was given a return #[redacted] and told credit "might" be issued depending on inspection findings. Freight charges for returning the part via USPS were to be $67. I contacted CI again to let them know I would not pay these additional charges on the chance I would be reimbursed. They referred me to the Customer Resolutions Rep who asked for more photos and provided me with an incorrect email address. My messages were undeliverable. I called to confirm the e-address, could not reach this rep nor a manager and was told by different reps the address is correct, more e-attempts failed. I called again but was told the CR Rep would have to call me back. Despite several phone call attempts and voice messages to CR Rep direct line, CI would not contact me. On 5/4 I finally received a email from [redacted] with his correct address. Again, no response, I had to persistently continue calling. CI response is that they have a tech who has the same truck and he says the part is fine. Also said it is the only part offered. As evidenced by more than a dozen photos I sent, the fact is it is simply the wrong part for this year make and model. CI's inability to confirm this does not warrant they not honor their guarantee. The CR Rep offered to issue credit if I sent pics of the destroyed part, I did on 5/11. On 5/15 I received a partial credit, amount $66.99. The total correct refund amount is $95.84. Clearly CI cares less about losing a customer than honoring their 100% satisfaction guarantee.Desired Settlement: I'm asking for complete credit including the freight charges as this is not my error! The credit issued was in the amount of $66.99. My total costs for this were $95.84. $51.99 for the part, $9.95 rush fee, $33.90 freight. The refund is short $28.85. This directly contradicts their Money Back Guarantee -

Review: Purchased an after market shifter for a vehicle, paid mechanics to install product. Product was not working correctly and mechanic stated that the shifter was bad. I contacted Classic Car Industries to seek guidance on this issue and was told to contact the manufacturer myself. I did contact manufacturer and explained my situation they had me download the spoecific product information and installation manual, then print it out and drive to the mechanics shop. Mechanic disassembled the product inspected it and reinstalled the shifter once again. The product was still a problem and not operating correctly. I called classic car industries again and was not given any good options at all, I was told that I could purchase another shifter and return the first one so that classic Car Industries could send it to the manufacturer for product evaluation. This was unacceptable because by this time my car was in the shop for some weeks and I was looking at paying a storage fee. Out of frustration I had to order another shifter from a competitor and return the original shifter expecting a refund. Weeks later September 22, 2014 I called classic car to check on my refund and the person on the phone stated that the shifter had in fact been returned and my refund would have to wait, I asked to speak to a manager and was placed on hold the I was told that I would need to wait for a call because there was NO manager to be found.Desired Settlement: Please stand by your product by refunding my money and maintain some sort of customer satisfaction.
