I am responding to complain ID No***.I spoke to the three women involved here at my end (one was on funeral leave until yesterday).The office Mgrhere (***) received a call from Mrs*** with an internet ptnofor a washerThe part noshe supplied was an accurate number based upon
the model number also suppliedThus, both part and research validated that the part was correct for that specific unitThe consumer (son) apparently tried to install the part and stated that it "did not fit."I have seen hundreds of times over that last decades consumers attempting to install a part and stating that it did not fit, when it all actuality it was not being installed properly or was an inherently difficult part to installThis may not be the case, but it has been witnessed here many timesThis is why a trained technician is often needed.Mrs*** returned with the part, presented it to parts Mgr*** and demanded her money back*** stated that it appears that it its the correct part, but the consumer was rather agitated and left "in a huff" per ***. In summation, it is possible for a wrong part to be placed in a box from the distributor, albeit rareHowever, if Mrs*** would return the new part (with box) and the old part, we can visually compare the twoThis would give us leverage and justification for a return of the partI am assuming she would be willing to do this as this would clear up the issueOut of state distributors are very reluctant to accept returns, especially special order, unless we can prove they were in errorKeep me informed of this situation

On June 18th I called and ordered a part for my LG washing machineThe lady who answered the phone took all my information and said she'd get the part ordered a sapOn June 22, she called and said the part was inMy son went and got the partWhen he got home he tried to install it but it was to bigHe took the part back and said it was the wrong part, and the part numbers didn't matchThey told him it was the right park for that machineAgain he tried installing it but could not as it was too bigOn June 24th, I took the part back with the old part I neededThey told me sorry no refundsI asked if they could just order the right part and they said no because they could not return the partI asked if I could get a refund of my $They said no returnsI asked why I wasn't told that when I calledI got no answerI said it doesn't say that on the recieptShe pointed to a sign that says No returns on electronic parts and all returns have to be on unopened and sealedI h
