Classic Plumbing and Heating Contractors, Inc. Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Consumer called and said the the business never offered anything for free, but only offered to look at it. The consumer recieved a nasty voicemail from the company, which the consumer felt the business was trying to hide something. Also, the consumer doubts that the vehicle is inspected with no issues, since the shock was taken to another shop who indicated that he  has never seen such a bad shock. The consumer feels that the shock and axle problems were unrelated because  they were in different parts of the vehicle. Since the dash lights were turned down some of the problems were not immediately. The consumer would like the company to pay $600 to cover issues that should have never existed if the vehicle had been properly inspected.
Regards,

Re 2007 Ford Escape #[redacted] for $5400. withiO5,996 miles. 1-23-16. Vehicles in NYS with over 100,000 miles do not have the NYS used vehiclewarranty. As with all our high mileage cars we do provide a 30 day 1000 milepower train warranty. This covers the lubricated motor and transmission only. The shock was not broken at the time of inspection. When the shock broke itpossibly damaged something else. However, that is something I'll never knowbecause you refused to bring the vehicle to me as we had planed. [redacted] calledwith the broken shock problem. I told him it wasn't covered but to bring thevehicle in ASAP. And would take care of it no charge and it may have damagedmore than the shock if it had broken. He said he was busy but would have it herein a few days. A few days later I received a call from Mrs. [redacted] telling meabout the same problem. I explained to her I was aware of the problem, therewould be no charge for the repair and I was waiting for it to be dropped off. Sheacted like see understood. The AWD was working properly when delivered. Ican't do any better than offer someone a free repair. If they choose to not acceptmy free repair offer that's up to them. JohnI am a NYS inspector myself, however I take all my cars to a independent shop tobe inspected. I personally go with every car because I also want to look underevery car myself. There were no broken shocks or springs or any other problemsthat would have not passed NYSI. The car easily passed the NYSI mechanical andemissions test. Being over 100,000 miles the car does not have a Mechanicalwarranty. Evan under 100,000 miles a broken shock is not covered. Howeverwhen someone calls I always try to help out. Yes, even when it's not covered. When he called I was completely polite ! The first thing I said to the gentlemanwas...no charge I'll take care of it for you, if it's just broken shock I can do itquickly. If something else is damaged it could take a little while. Can you bring itover right now ?? He said no but would drop it in a couple days. I explained aboutour key drop box and told him anytime 24/7 would be ok to bring it. 4-5 dayslater when the lady called I told her the exact same thing. [ I've been tellingpeople this same thing for 30+ years ]. I never called and left any kind of "nasty"message?? They obviously have no curtsey or respect for me. A week or so later Iget a letter from the Revdex.com and a bill ? They have absolutely no reason to complainabout me. They refused to bring it back. If you bought a lawn mower at sears anda month later it broke down, you would take it to sears ! If you later broughtthem a bill from [redacted] repair guess what they would tell you ?
