Re Ford Escape # [redacted] for $with105,miles1-23-Vehicles in NYS with over 100,miles do not have the NYS used vehicle warrantyAs with all our high mileage cars we do provide a day mile powertrain warrantyThis covers the lubricated motor and transmission onlyThe shock was not broken at the time of inspectionWhen the shock broke it possibly damaged something elseHowever, that is something I'll never know because you refused to bring the vehicle to me as we had planed [redacted] called with the broken shock problem I told him it wasn't covered but to bring the vehicle in ASAPAnd would take care of it no charge and it may have damaged more than the shock if it had brokenHe said he was busy but would have it here in a few daysA few days later I received a call from Mrs [redacted] telling me about the same problemI explained to her I was aware of the problem, there would be no charge for the repair and I was waiting for it to be dropped offShe acted like see understood The AWD was working properly when deliveredI can't do any better than offer someone a free repairIf they choose to not accept my free repair offer that's up to them John

The first thing I said to the gentlemanwas...no charge I'll take care of it for you, if it's just broken shock I can do itquicklyIf something else is damaged it could take a little whileCan you bring itover right now ?? He said no but would drop it in a couple daysI explained aboutour key drop box and told him anytime 24/would be ok to bring it4-dayslater when the lady called I told her the exact same thing[ I've been tellingpeople this same thing for 30+ years ]I never called and left any kind of "nasty"message?? They obviously have no curtsey or respect for meA week or so later Iget a letter from the Revdex.com and a bill ? They have absolutely no reason to complainabout meThey refused to bring it backIf you bought a lawn mower at sears anda month later it broke down, you would take it to sears ! If you later broughtthem a bill from [redacted] repair guess what they would tell you ?
