I went to see a home with one of Classic Quality Homes sales person they were very pushy in me putting down a down payment to hold the home until the home loan was approved, the next day I call and after speaking with my family I decided not to go through with the purchaseI informed Lois the sales person she said my refund will be return a weekIt's been over a month days exact I been treated with disrespect by hanging up the phone to telling me to [redacted] offI been threaten by Jeff from the company that I will never see my moneyI am beyond disgusted they way this company conducts businessI will like to report their illegal activity and how they are scamming customers

Per the request of the customer; Classic Quality Homes will not compensate the customer for removal of the remaining healthy trees that were in the left front of the propertyThis same area was cleaned of rock debris between the trees, regraded, fertilized and re-seeded by our Landscape team previous to the customer removing the trees, and is now fully disturbed and unstabilized, which is now the responsibility of the Homeowner as well Please contact Classic Quality Homes if you have any further questions

3/9/ RevDex.com Re: [redacted] /ID# [redacted] Tobyhanna, PaTo Whom it May Concern: First of all, we apologize for to the customer for any inconvenience This customer closed on April 4, Items on his walk thru list were completed on May 6, 2014, with the exception of the large tree in the wooded areaThis same tree was cut into pieces and to be removed by our Sub contracted tree clearer He did call about the outside area grading had settlement and he wanted some soil where the indentations were and small trees planted on his property I see where he said it was never gradedThis is untrueWe would never be able to obtain a certificate of occupancy without final gradeOur crew went to the site and filled in a few areas and planted a few trees After the above; to my knowledge he has not called until just most recently at the end of February for the no heat situationUpon that call within hours customer service & the HVAC team it was addressed and a new blower motor was installed Also, a piece of siding above the rear slider came loose and was fixed as wellA small touch up area on the wall was addressed The customer Service Representative can check any cracks in concrete and report to the office From my understanding the main thing was the Heat Issue which has been repaired (Under warranty)See attached invoices as proofAlso from our understanding the customer is now satisfied with the items completedHe may call anytime Mon-Fri if any issues are outstandingThanks Sincerely Janet F*

This letter is written as a response to the above complaint filed by *** ***Landscaping was completed on the propertyI have included pictures of the home and grass & plantings
At the time of the walk thru, prior to closing, all important items interior & exterior are discussed with the new homeowners. I explain to the customers that some settling may occur around the home in the yard and if that happens to call and report it and the landscape crew will make a visit
Since this complaint, I sent the landscape crew by to perform an evaluation around the home on 9/25/Classic Quality Homes will be addressing some of those areas that seem to have sunken with additional soil, fertilizer, seed & hay for stabilization

I am writing this letter as a rebuttal to the letter Janet F* wrote in response to the complaintMsF* is correct when she says that my property has trees in the left front yardWhat she failed to tell you is that Classic Quality Homes left trees in the left front yardShe is also correct when she says that they removed the rocks and tree limbs as well as debris that was left on my property for five monthsI am attaching pictures for your review
MsF* stated to me back in January that they will remove the trees but could not do so at that point because due to the weather the ground would not permit itMsF* informed me that the ground would not support the equipment they would need to use to remove the treesMsF* continuously assured me that as soon as the weather permitted they will be here to remove the trees. We wanted to trust her so we waitedThen my husband and I noticed that they started building three other homes and that is when I started calling her againWe could not understand how they were able to bring in heavy equipment to clear those lots but could not come to clear off our property
My husband and I went to the office with my
*** to show MsF* what we were looking at every day when we looked
?out?our window or came out our front doorWe spoke with the sales associate, Lois who sold us our propertyLois acknowledged that my husband and I were clear from the beginning that we did not want any trees in our front yardLois asked MsF* to join us and MsF* was shown the picturesMs F* agreed that they were definitely and eye sore and that they will be removed but we had to waitOnce again she explained to us about the harsh winter and that was the reason for the hold up, and apologizedMsF* at that point suggested we wait until they come to do the Spring touch up so that everything could be done at onceAs recent as May 22, I called MsF* because I came home and noticed they were doing work in my neighbors house and doing my neighbors landscapingI asked MsF* are finally going to stop at my house and MsF* stated "yes, and we are going to have a party when those trees finally come down, right?!" Needless to say I came home the next day and the rocks had been removed, and my neighbors side of the property was seeded
MsF* states that at no time did she tell us that all the trees will be removedThat is not trueShe has said that to us in the office as well as over the phone on a number of occasionsMsF* stated that the sales associate Lois misinformed us, but she was sitting with us in the office when Lois said it and she agreedAt no time did anyone tell us that they only clear a specific perimeter because if they had, we would have went else where
MsF* states in her letter that it is their policy or practice not to "clear cut" any of their home sites. We are confused by her statement because there are several other homes in our community that Classic built where some have no trees and the homes that do have trees have pine treesWe are attaching pictures of other homes they've built in our community for your reviewWe are also attaching pictures of the trees that were left in our front yard
This whole experience has ruined the joy of owning our first homeMy husband and I were so disgusted with the whole situation that we decided to have the trees removed because we want to start fixing up our lawn and swaleAlthough we had it done ourselves, we want Classic Quality Homes to responsible for paying for it
