Review: I moved into an apartment complex managed by this company on 9/16/2013. Upon moving in we did an inspection with the manager on site. She didn't allow us to fill out the move in checklist or to add any items to the list. When we pointed something out that was wrong, she said Dont worry we will fix that right away for you, we dont need to put that down on the checklist. She later stated she was instructed by [redacted] to do this so the checklists would not show anything wrong with the apartments. The apartment had several things wrong with it upon move in that were never fixed. We placed several work orders with the manager on site but nothing was fixed. We vacated the apartment on 9/30/13 because of all of the issues the apartment had. Classic Realty has placed a residential collection on my credit, when I feel that they shouldnt have. The apartment was not in livable condition, not to mention, my wife and I had to stay in a hotel for about a week for them to fix the items. Since they didnt fix them we stayed in the hotel until we found a new place to live. In November the roof of this second floor apartment caved into the apartment. Then in December the apartment flooded and the floor caved into the apartment below. They are charging us for rent up until the end of the lease when the apartment doesn't even have a floor. Please see below for a list of all of the issues we had with the apartment.See attached document for complete complaint details as I was unable to fit everything in this field.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund for rent paid and my deposit. I am also requesting to be compensated for the nights I had to sleep in a hotel because of the unsafe living conditions. The total refund I am requesting is $1,206.12. I have receipts for everything. I am also requesting the judgments be removed from both of our credit reports immediately.
