We had what seemed like a simple settlement. We received our check from this settlement company. Then 4 days later the company calls to tell us that our check we received at closing will bounce. Sure enough, I checked my bank account and the check they wrote us bounced. Though they are sending a new check over night, this is completely unacceptable. We have to now submit our bank fee's to them to be reimbursed. For a company that is handling settlements everyday, they need to be aware of how their actions affect everyone. I am speechless.
