Classic Tattoo Club Reviews (1)

Review: In March 2015 I contacted [redacted] (Classic Tattoo Club) on [redacted]. On April 26th I sent [redacted] a photo of what I wanted. In April I went in and met with [redacted]. I made my $100 drawing deposit. I didn't hear from [redacted] for a while so on May 20th I texted her asking if she had started on the drawing yet because I was ready to make another payment. [redacted] stated that they have been sick. On May 21st she asked if I can go in. On May 21st I went into see [redacted] and she was not there. She did not contact me to let me know she wasn't going to be there but I spoke with [redacted] who is her husband and he told me that the drawing was not done and that he has it at home and will start working on it. On May 29th, [redacted] texted me if I can go in on May 30th to see the drawing. I told her I was going out of town but can go in on June 1, 2015. She stated that was fine. On June 1st I went into the Tatto shop and she was not there. Again, [redacted] failed to contact me and let me know she was not going to be there. This was the second time [redacted] had asked me to go in and not be there. Aproximately one week later I was able to meet with [redacted] and look at the drawing. We made some changes to the drawing and had scheduled date for the tattoo to be done on June 18, 2015. On June 17th [redacted] contacted me by phone confirming my appointment for June 18th at 1 p.m. I told her I am keeping my appointment. On June 18, 2015 after 12 p.m. [redacted] contacted me telling they can't do my tattoo because they did not have the tools to do my tattoo. I was upset because she could have told me the day before when she called to confirmed my appointment. At that point I asked for my money back so I could go elsewhere for my tattoo. She told me she did not have my money and I asked her when she would and she told me June 19th. On June 19th I texted [redacted] to let her know that my friend was going to pick up my money after 6p.m. My friend contacted me after 6 p.m. and informed me that [redacted] was not there at the shop. On June 23rd I texted [redacted] about my refund, she stated she needed a few days to get caught up and pay me. Since then I cannot contact her. I have texted her, called her, [redacted] message her and she is ignoring me.Desired Settlement: I paid $100 for the drawing and another $100 towards my tattoo. I would like my full refund of $200. I want the $100 for the drawing because On June 23rd [redacted] posted my drawing on facebook saying it's up for grabs and someone responded to it. Total refund is $200 total.

Response:

She contacted me about her first tattoo and ideas she wanted to have tattooed and to also cover scars. She said she was wanting to get the work in a month or two but would like to pay the drawing deposit (Which is non-refundable). She came in and met with me about a month and a half before she wanted to actually get the work and paid the drawing deposit and we went over the design and traced the area of which she wanted the piece tattooed on. She contacted us weekly asking if the drawing was done yet immediately after dropping the deposit and was explained the piece was being worked on and that a piece of that size and detail will take time. The artists also work 12 hour days and draw the tattoos in the time in between or after work hours. After 2 weeks she came in to see her drawing on a day that the owner, [redacted], had a day off but the tattoo artist, [redacted] was here at the shop and explained to her that the drawing was at home and he would bring it in for her to see the next day. She did not come in the next day, she sent a text and said she was coming in on Monday to see the drawing. Monday is the tattoo artist, [redacted] and the owner, [redacted]s', day off but the drawing was left at the shop with the other two artists on duty for her to look over. She came in and was shown the art and then left. She came again the next Monday, also the owner and artists scheduled day off and was once again shown the piece, said she liked it but there were a few things she would like changed so she was immediately contacted the next Tuesday by the owner via text and scheduled a work day for her to come in and go over the design. She came in and [redacted] and the client went over the design and it was confirmed and scheduled for June 18th at 1pm.
