On April 13, *** *** and wife *** *** brought a Chevy Tahoe to Classified Complete Auto Repair*** stayed for the diagnostic of the vehicle and wife *** *** had leftI *** (Mechanic) asked *** *** what is wrong with the car? he responded, "It is
making a lot of noise inside the engine"*** also had mention prior to bringing the vehicle to my location he had already taken his vehicle to numerous shops, One of the shops indicated that the engine was badAnother shop had mention that it was the LiftersAt that moment I checked the vehicle with his permission and presence, to give me diagnosticOnce checking the vehicle I gave a verbal diagnostic to *** and said, "I think the noise is coming from the front of the timing cover, which is the (Timing gear actuator)and needed to be replace," and to let me replace the timing gear actuator then go ahead and if it continues to make the noise then it is going to be the lifters" but that it was going to cost him a lot of money to replace*** responded, "If you think it is the timing gear actuator then go ahead and replace itIn addition he also requested to install fog lights in the front bumperI gave him the total of $1,including parts and installing his fog lightsI *** (mechanic) completed the vehicle on 4/29/called Mr*** *** and notified him that the vehicle was ready*** came to pick up the vehicleBefore taking the Chevy Tahoe I told *** to test drive the car and drive it a bit far so he can see that that noise was goneAfter test driving the car for about 1/and hour he came back to the shop and said, "*** the car is running good." He asked me for the receipt and warranty which I did provide him with and Invoice # and his month warranty I also gave him the old parts that were replaced on his vehicle to take with him so he can show his wife what was replacedMr*** left the shop on April 29,with an Invoice in his hand warranty and old parts that were replacedOn May 5, at 5:20pm Mr*** *** called me and explain to me that his wife *** can still hear the noise, so I told him ok "bring me the vehicle so that I can check it"I asked Mr*** "What kind of noise is ti making? I asked him if the noise was the same of if it was a loud noise? *** said that the noise it was making was coming from the oil cap, but "only" when you take out the cap it would make the noiseI told him "ok, go ahead and bring me the vehicle and let me take a look at it." *** said he would bring the Chevy Tahoe the following Monday which was May 9, Once he gave me the date he would bring the vehicle he then told me he was not sure that I even replaced the timing gear actuator and that he was going to take the vehicle else where so they can check and make sure I change the timing gearI ***, told him that he did not have to do all of that and pay someone else to check the vehicleI had even mentioned to Mr*** that I had taken picture of the parts that were replaced and also reminded him that he had taken the old parts with himInclusive that same day I sent him a via picture text message of the new parts installedOnce I sent him the pictures of the new parts that was Mr*** was more calm down and told me he was going to proceed in bringing the vehicle on May 9, I told Mr*** that I liked for my customers to be happy with the work that I doOnce again I had reminded him that he had warranty and to please bring the vehicle so that I can check itI called Mr*** on May 12, twice and he did not respond to any of my callsSince then, Mr*** has not yet brought the Chevy Tahoe to the shop
Note: Attached is the copy of the original Invoice and the dealer Invoice from where the (Timing gear actuator) was purchased fromAlso attached is a picture of the text message that was sent to Mr*** of the new parts installed on May 5,

[redacted] ( mechanic ) is responding back to consumer Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] regarding their 2010 Chevy Tahoe, that was brought in to the shop Classified Complete Auto Repair ) on April 13,2016 and was completed and returned to Mr. [redacted] on April 29, 2016. Per my conversation with Mr. [redacted] that was taken place on May 5, 2016 around 5:20p.m. regarding his Chevy Tahoe was told that his wife was not happy with the work being done to the car, I told Mr. [redacted] to bring the car back to the shop so I can take a look at it, Mr. [redacted] and I scheduled him to bring his car the following Monday which would have been May 9, 2016. 1 tried to reach NIL [redacted] on May 12, 2016 a couple of times and did not respond. Since then I have not heard from him. Once again Mr. [redacted] is more than welcome to bring his 2010 Chevy Tahoe to the shop so that I can take a look at the vehicle and try to solve the problem that they are not happy with. The vehicle only has warranty to the work that was done to his 2010 Chevy Tahoe.
