Classy K 9Z Reviews (1)
Review: I took my parents dog to this business for the second time. The first time he went there service was great. Second time not so much. He walked in there on his own. I requested he be groomed the same as last time including nail trimming and ear cleaning. Three and a half hours later they called me and told me he was done and ready to be picked up. Upon arriving they told me it was a $65 charge, so I wrote a check for $85 to include a $20 tip. [redacted] could barely walk out the waiting room. They tried to tell me he'd been like that the entire time. Well he wasn't like that when I dropped him off. He has a weak leg, which I reminded them of when I dropped him off. He was also wet, his hair was still long and matted and his ears were not cleaned. I told the groomer this was unacceptable. She said she did all she could do. I told her if that was the case then I wanted my check back. I did not receive what I paid for. The owner came out to resolve the issue. She had the groomer take him back to try and trim his back butt and back legs. I seen he was struggling and motioned for them to stop. Instead they moved him out of my sight for AN HOUR. I was devastated. Then they brought him back to me and he could barely walk. He kept falling and laying down. I told the groomer I was still unhappy with the results. The dog still have long, matted hair under his belly. His coat was just as thick as it was when I dropped him off and most of all something was wrong with him. She helped me carry him into my van and I called a friend to help me carry him into the house. When we got home he drank three bowls of water but never moved from the same spot. Classy k9z never offered to take any money off the bill. I don't think I should have been charged full price for something we didn't receive.Desired Settlement: I am putting a stop payment on the check. If I can not stop payment I want a $55 refund. I'll pay for his bath and nail trimming because that is all he received. I just hope he makes a full recovery from all the stress they put him through.
Hello, in response to our recent complaint, the dog that was being groomed was 13 years old. Any pet grooming facility is a stressful environment to a pet that is used to being at home. Being an elderly pet makes it harder on them, however we did everything possible to make it easier by letting the dog have numerous sit down breaks instead of rushing him through the grooming process. The customer was not happy with the first look on the finished pet. She asked for a partial refund. We agreed to return him to the grooming room to try and make it shorter on the rear end. We closed our half partition doorway so that the pet could not continue walking back to his owner since we were working on him on the floor. ( He is a large dog roughly 100 lbs.)
