To whom it may concern:We receive the complaint from Mr. [redacted] regarding his windows last Friday, 7/17/16. We regret that he felt that he had to make a complaint but actually understand why he did. This job has dragged on and on due to the problems with the glass. First, I wanted to wait until it...
was warm enough to more easily install the IG units. Which put us into late April - May. I then had a delay getting proper sizes from the manufacturer and that put me into late May before I got them ordered. I then had issues with the local glass maker with getting them done and we had to have several units re-made. I then had issues with my installer who now is no longer with the company.It has kind of been a comedy of errors with this project and we regret any inconvenience we have caused the homeowner. I have also been away from the office this year for more time than ever in my career dealing with out of town family issues. I do not say this as a reason or excuse merely a fact. This fact has also caused me to be less communicative with several homeowners this year including Mr. [redacted]. We are very sorry about that as well.We would like to complete the work as promised for the homeowner as I have given them a very good deal and would be sorry if I returned their money and they had to pay hundreds more than I was charging them for the same repair. We can have the work complete by the end of August at the outside but probably long before then. If they do not want us to do the repair we would be happy to refund any monies we received from them for the job.Please let us know how to proceed and pass along our apologies for their inconvenience during this job. Also, we did have a server crash and temporarily (since 6/13) our email has not worked.
