Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response is factually incorrect for the following reasons: 1) I contracted with Clayton Austin Love Stories (CALS) on 2/24/and he advised that he was breaching the contract on 2/13/12, months before my wedding, but he didn't return my deposit until 2/29/12, and my wedding was on 6/23/ 2) He did provide the information for photographers who were available, but who were over $more than my budget 3) He did offer to gift and pay for a wedding album, but then retracted that offer to do so 4) He did offer a free session, though he said it would have to be whenever he was in the area for another wedding and then never advised us of any such session 5) I did express that I understood and were thankful for all the things he offered, but that was when I was under the impression that he was breaching the contract to be at his brother's wedding, not because I wasn't "a good fit for [his] business." 6) I never stated in an email that I was not happy with the photos provided from the photographer that I choose 7) I never demanded money from CALS nor threatened to blackmail him I have attached e-mails between myself and [redacted] , CALS that offer proof of the contract, the deposit paid, and breach of the contractIf you need any other information please feel free to contact me Regards, [redacted]

I too am rejecting the response from *** *** for the following reasonsI will only state the FACTS as can be provenI have also attached ALL of the email correspondeces between *** *** and myself including the ones where I went above and beyond to rectify the situation with her as well as her response where she demands $
1) As you can see in the initial complaint she states that I canceled her contract months prior to her event dateNow she is stating I canceled monthsI wrote her to inform her that I would no longer be available for her wedding date on 2/3/NOT 2/13/12, months and weeks prior to her event datePlease refer to attached emails and dates as evidence.
2) *** *** stated in her initial Revdex.com complaint that "months before my wedding he called and advised me that he could not comply with the contract, only to find out that the reason was that he had been offered more money to shoot another wedding out of the country.
3) This statement is completely falseI did not contract with another wedding for more money and this can easily be proven
4) I contacted two highly qualified photographers on her behalf who eagerly agreed to not only cover her event but also agreed to meet her budget requirements by honoring the rate that she had contracted with meThe statement that the substitute photographers were $over her budget is as they both agreed to honor the rate she had contracted with me
5) Because neither of the substitute photographers offered wedding albums as part of their packages I offered to design pay for her album myself, a value of $
6) I also offered a free portrait session, informing her that I would most likely be in her area for other events in the future.
7) At no time did I ever retract these offers and challenge *** *** to provide evidence that I didI have attached EVERY single piece of correspondence, completely unedited, between *** *** and myself and as you can see at no time did I ever retract these offersFor her to state otherwise if completely false
8) I mailed $retainer refund to the contract that she had provided on her contract on 2/13/On 2/29/*** *** acknowledged receipt of the retainer stating that she had since moved and because the retainer was sent to the address on her contract it took additional time to receive it
9) After receiving the retainer on 2/29/there was no more communication from *** *** until 8/17/14, almost two and half years later when she filed her initial complaint with Revdex.com.
10) *** *** did not select either of my provided photographer substitutions but instead contracted with a local photographer of much less quality in my opinion
11) *** *** stated in her initial complaint "I was left scrambling to find another photographer and couldn't find even a half decent one at that late hour and was left with sub par wedding photos." Why she is insisting that she never stated it in an email is beyond meShe clearly stated it here in the Revdex.com complaint
12) On two different occasions *** *** expressed how happy she was with the wedding photos from her wedding photographer, *** *** in Key West, Floridadated July 28, She stated "Thank you so much *** *** to you and your team!!! The photos are absolutely beautiful and captured the day perfectly!!! It went by so quickly, so it's nice to relive it all though your pictures! We're definitely going to have a hard time picking them through them for our album!!"I have attached the screenshots of those conversations from the *** *** *** business page
13) After being notified of the complaint I reached out to *** *** in order to start a dialogue to figure out why after such a long time she decided to file the complaintAgain, please refer to the attached emailsI again offered her a free portrait session and requested to speak with her on the phone in order to find a resolution
14) She then responded that she does not want the free portraits session nor does she want to talk on the phoneShe is demanding payment in the amount of $5000, The amount that she would have paid had I covered her event
15) *** *** is demanding a payment of $in order to prevent her from suing me for breach of contract as well as to prevent her from contacting local wedding photographers and vendors directly with a negative review of my services
16) I am currently preparing to lodge a complaint with the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Disciplinary Counsel's office, and the District
Attorney as *** *** is a licensed attorney in the state of Louisiana
17) I will not, under any circumstances relent to *** ***s demands for a payment of $5000, or any amount of money for that matter

Hi [redacted], I contacted you almost five months away from your wedding (not two months) to inform you that I would not be able to document your event after all. I provided two photographers who were available and willing to meet your budget restrictions. I even offered to gift and pay for a wedding album...

myself because the two photographers did not offer albums. Lastly I offered you a free engagement session on my own dime. In an email from you dated on 2/4/12 you stated in response to my sincere apology, "No need to worry anymore, we will work it all out!" You expressed that you understood and were thankful for all the things I offered. The truth is that you just weren't a good fit for my business. And now over two years later you seem to have had a change of heart. You did not go with either of the photographers I offered but instead waited till the last minute to book another photographer of lesser quality at a fraction of the cost and now it seems you are having buyers remorse. You stated in an email that you were not happy with the photos provided from the photographer that YOU chose (not having booked either of the amazing photographers I provided to you) and wish to place blame on me for their images. On top of all that your email no less than states you are demanding money or you will begin a smear campaign against my business. While I am truly sorry you are unhappy with your wedding images, I will not be blackmailed for something I had no hand in. Had you taken my advice and selected one of the recommended photographers I provided I am positive you would have been thrilled with your wedding images.
