Clayton Vacuum and Sewing Machine Co. Inc.

Our AC went out on Tuesday, 6/16 (not surprising, since it was 13 years old), and called Pioneer (with whom we have dealt for 25+ years). We were pleased that someone came out the next day. We had an initial assessment, and a follow-up with a sales rep, We got an honest appraisal, and went with a new unit which, due to demand, could not be installed until 6/23 (yesterday). In the mean time, [redacted] arranged to have a portable unit (free!) delivered the next day. It really helped. Now, here's the really "cool" part: On Thursday, he called me late in the day, and told me he had mis-punched a number when calculating the estimate, and our cost would be $500 LESS than he had told us!
Yesterday morning, two young guys arrived with our new unit. They knew what they were doing, and completed the job in a timely and professional fashion. We very much appreciated them.
Bottom line: Great company, excellent service, reasonable prices! We recommend them heartily!

I would not recommend Pioneer Heating and Air Conditioning. I called them on Thursday morning because my heat had went out, they sent an extremely nice gentleman to look at my unit, he discovered that a part had gone bad and that my duct had some flow issues. He said that a salesman would contact me that day to set up a time to come out and look at it and give me my options to fix it. He said they could not move forward with any repairs until the salesman came out and looked at the issue and went over my options. I was never contacted by a salesman and finally on Friday I called to speak with a sales man, I explained to him that I was still with out heat and needed to see what I needed to do because I have young children, he said he would call me back and never did. Here it is Monday and I am still without heat and still have not heard back from a sales man. I called them b/c they came highly recommended, but I was not satisfied and will go with another company that will make me a priority! My family nor friends will use them again b/c of the way they have done me.
