Clean Choice Solar works to accommodate our customers budget as well as their energy needsWhen we build a system for a customer we use the energy consumption from the previous yearThis information is found on their utility billThis information justifies the size of their solar power systemAll of this is in writing and found in the Solar Agreement that each customer signs and receivesWhen we built Customer's system we followed this processOur customers are informed of this during consultationWe also clearly state that if you choose to consume more electricity than your solar is designed to produce then you will receive a bill from your Utility company that reflects the over consumptionAll customers are always subject to their utility providers fees and taxes associated with their serviceThe Dollars Customer refers to is the accumulative charge for the entire yearThis amount reflects her over consumptionPlease review our customer care notes and timeline as part of this response
Notes:
We have spoken with the Customer many times and our sales manager went to her home personally to try to help herShe refused our helpShe has admitted on many occasions to us that she is using more electricity than previous yearsWe have seen proof of this because she provided copies of her bills
Time line:
She started calling in OctoberOn October 23, we asked her to send her *** bills so we can review themOctober 28, she said she throws away all of her billsWe informed her to call *** and request copies and send them to usWe also gave her *** customer service phone # to check her solar production and inquire about monitoring.
She called a couple more times and spoke to various staff members about her concerns and finally sent us her *** bills via post officeWe explained to her many times that she is using much more electricity than she was when we designed her systemShe tried to deny this at first but then finally admitted she "runs her air 24/7." This issue was put to rest because the problem was Identified and *** confirmed she was meeting the production guaranteeIn January she began calling againWe set an appointment for our Sales manager to go to her home to show her some options to get more panels and to further council her on her increased usageI confirmed the appointment and shared options and solutions on January 5, Spoke to her again on January 7thSales went to her home on January 8, She would not accept any help and reacted hysterically.
We have worked with this customer to help her on many occasions and we have worked diligently to provide a responsible solutionHer utility bills show an increase in usage when compared to the prior yearsShe admits to using more electricity than normalHer system is working as we said it would and the system is meeting the energy production guarantee that is in writingIf she would like a bigger system to meet her higher current usage we will be happy to assist her.

I have received a check for 100.00 on 3-30-15 which is my refund so the matter has been resolved.

Review: Clean Choice Solar sent out a promotional letter stating if we make an appointment with Clean Choice to hear about their solar we will receive a Kindle Fire. I confirmed on the phone with the agent who set up the appointment and she said it would take between 6-8 weeks receive. Almost 8 months have passed and every time I call they say they will have someone call me back and I have never gotten I return phone call nor the product promised. We do want solar and we met with the sales rep as its on our list of things to do to the house. The fact that they never made good on their word, offer or promise of sending the product make me they are untrustworthy and I would never do business with them.Desired Settlement: Send the Kindle Fire or apologize to all the other consumers including myself that you wasted our time, made promises you cant keep and sent out false advertising.

Review: I had this company come out and sell me a solar system. I told them what my budget was and they accommodated me, however, they also told me the system they built was definitely much larger than my usage and I should definitely be able to use my air conditioner. I have a senior and an infant living in my home. I require the usage of air. I have used my air and I have incurred an $800.00 bill because of this. When I tried calling them starting 7 months after getting my solar, they refused to assist me, ignored my calls, kept making requests. I provided them information, upon information, upon information. Then I get a very rude phone call from [redacted] telling me I shouldn't be using SO MUCH electricity. The only compromise that was provided me was to have them ADD 13 MORE LARGE panels, and another $75.00 more to my monthly bill. This is ridiculous and had they built the system my home required and not just accommodated my budget TO MAKE THE SALE, we would NOT have purchased the solar, that is why they said and did what they did, to get the $10k.Desired Settlement: I want the solar removed from my home and the funds refunded back to the HERO program, which paid for this up front. I have made two payments to the Hero program through my homes taxes, which should be deducted from any type of refund. There is no other option, I cannot afford to have them build a bigger system. That would defeat my budget and the promises they made my mother and I. Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I signed on contract on 1-9-15 for solar and the company name is Clean choice Solar. The phone number I have been calling is [redacted]. I had until 1-19-15 to cancel the transaction. Now on 1-16-15 [redacted] from Clean Choice Solar came back to my home to change the terms of the contract but at that time I informed him that I will be canceling the transaction so I signed the notice of cancellation on 1-16-15 and [redacted] said he would turn the original copy in the office the same day and get my check back of $100.00 that I wrote for down payment on 1-9-15. On 2-4-15 Clean Choice Solar cashed the check. I called on 2-5-15 and spoke to [redacted] at Clean Choice Solar and she said she would forward my complaint to the right department and I will receive a call back. No one called back so I called again on 2-25-15 and spoke to [redacted] and she said she has to talk to the other department and I will get a call back. No call back. Call back on 2-26-15 spoke to [redacted] again and she was still waiting to hear from the other department. Called on 3-10-15 and spoke to [redacted] and was told [redacted] will get me a call back. As of today I have not receive no call back about the refund for my money for a service I cancelled.Desired Settlement: I will like my $100.00 for a service I cancel.

Review: On January 19 a representative of the above company came to my home for a solar presentation after I had been pre-qualified and as a thank you for my time I was promised a [redacted]. The agent filled out a request form for the [redacted] and it was supposed to be delivered within 2-4 weeks. Until now I still didn't receive the [redacted] and my phone calls are either not returned or they are telling me that the [redacted] is still on backorder.

I didn't proceed with Solar after the Representative even realized that there wouldn't be any energy savings for me.Desired Settlement: I like to get the promised [redacted] asap
