I sadly signed a Home Improvement Contract with Clean Energy of America ("CEOA") on 1/8/The system they promised would be high quality and installed by a Certified Licensed ElectricianIn reality, it was installed by unlicensed handymen, Dillon and Juan, who installed it with code violationsCEOA has declined to fix any of the violations They also said they only broke roof tiles with the installation and the truth was they broke over roof tiles which I had to spend over $2,to repairWhen I complained they said they did not need to install to code if the City of Bakersfield approved their workSince the poor installation the City of Bakersfield has revoked their Final ApprovalRather than attempting to mitigate CEOA sued me in the wrong location, which I had to correctRather then send a Manager to view the work completed by their unlicensed handyman they suedI think this is there way of trying to force customers to accept their poor work protectWhat good is a warranty from a company that refuses to repair work that is out of building code standardsAs I was sued for full payment the Revdex.com does not allow member complaintsPlease avoid during business with these sham artists at all costDo not believe anything the say including Duke S*n, their salesman I have filed a complaint with the CA Contractors License BoardThey have little honor

We went with Clean Energy after interviewing at least three other providers and installers and deciding we were not a candidate for solar since our roofline was so unusual. CEA graciously asked if they could work with their engineers and come up with a plan that would be cost effective and energy efficient that would allow us to produce enough energy to cut our electric tier use from tier 4 to tier 2. I am delighted to report that this company lived up to all of their professional responsibility. They came several times to inspect and design the array and through their wonderful customer service department led by Roxanne, they kept in touch with us all the way. When they sent their installers, the entire installation took two days (we added some extra outlets and two electric car chargers which took the extra day). They took charge of inspection and then sent the full request to Southern Cal. [redacted] Our solar was turned on within two days of the install report. We are now online reading our daily reports of solar usage less than 10 days from installation. We knew we were only adding 11 panels at 315 W each and that we were not expecting to cut all of our power use, however, this looks like a fantastic compromise and we expect to cut our most expensive part of electricity which is tier 3 and 4 and save at least $1500 - $1800 per year which will allow us to break even within 5 or 6 years. Beside, as of today, we saved 2 trees with our carbon footprint. Not bad for a house that was not expected to have solar. And the best part is they installed this without any view from the street. We have a solar system that no one can see.
