Review: I DROPPED OFF A BAG OF LAUNDRY AT THIS LAUNDROMAT TO BE WASHED INCLUDING A NEW PAIR OF MEN'S JEANS. LAUNDRY WAS RETURNED MINUS MY JEANS. OWNER AND I REVIEWED WASHING ON A SECURITY CAMERA AND SAW THAT JEANS WERE PLACED INTO WASHER BY EMPLOYEE. HOWEVER, THE JEANS WERE NEVER PLACED INTO LAUNDRY BAG WHEN DRIED AND FOLDED. JEANS WERE STOLEN BY SOMEONE. OWNER DENIES THAT HE EVER RECEIVED THEM. I HAVE BEEN A PAYING CUSTOMER FOR OVER 12 YEARS. I BELIEVE HE IS RESPONSIBLE.Desired Settlement: I OFFERED TO SPLIT THE LOSS 50/50 BUT OWNER INSISTS THAT I NEVER BROUGHT THE JEANS IN. I BOUGHT A NEW REPLACEMENT PAIR AND SHOWED HIM THE RECEIPT, HE STILL WON'T REIMBURSE ME. I WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND.

I'm the owner of Clean House Laundry Inc. located at 413 Bronx River Rd Yonkers NY. I received a letter from you. He (Mr. [redacted]) said, he dropped a new jean pants in his laundry.

I reveiewed all processing from washing to folding about his drop.

But we couldn't find a new jean pants, only we find a dirty, old big size jean pants. We think, he dropped a old dirty jean pants at that times instead of new jean pants.

However, we negotiated, we going to give a store credit half and half.

Also, he used one time store credit.

Please don't let him drove our lady to thief. I always proud of my lady very honest. I think he might be confused.

Anyway, let him take a store credit left.

ALTHOUGH I GENEROUSLY OFFERED THE OWNER TO SPLIT THE COST OF MY $100 LOSS BY ACCEPTING FIVE FREE $10 WASHES, AFTER THE FIRST FREE WASH HE VERBALLY ABUSED ME AND ACCUSED ME OF MAKING THE WHOLE STORY UP AND HAVING NEVER PUT MY JEANS IN THE LAUNDRY. WE BOTH SAT BY HIS CLOSED CIRCUIT TV RECORDING AND SAW THE JEANS BEING PLACED IN THE WASH BY ONE OF HIS WORKERS. HE SAW THE JEANS, HIS DENIAL IS A LIE, IT IS ON TAPE. THIS IS A 24 HOUR LAUNDROMAT AND SOMEONE COULD EASILY GO IN AND STEAL LAUNDRY.

AT THIS POINT I DO NOT WISH TO DEAL WITH THIS CRIMINAL DEALERSHIP UNLESS HE FULLY COMPENSATES ME. YOU WILL NOTICE THERE ARE OTHER SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON HIS WEBSITE. Review: On Friday, October **, 2014, I dropped off laundry for the first time using their wash and fold service. On Sunday, October **, 2014, I picked up my laundry and upon unpacking it that evening, I noticed that my gray and white sweater that was dropped off came back pink and white. Upon reviewing the shirt, it became obvious to me that it was bleached which caused the gray stripes to turn pink. The next day, on October [redacted], I went back to Clean House and spoke first with the girl behind the counter. She looked my information up in the computer and also checked a binder for something before she brought the shirt to the back to speak with the [redacted] about it. The [redacted] came out and told me that the reason why the shirt turned pink was because it was manufactured poorly and after many washes the shirt color changes. He also told me that he does not use bleach in his washes. I told him that I find it hard to believe that I have washed the shirt on my own many times without issue and the one time his business washes it, it drastically changes color. I also asked him if he doesn't use bleach how come my regular whites came back very white like they had been bleached. He then backpedaled and said they use bleach on white clothing only and there was no way my shirt could have been put into a white wash. He also stated that if my gray and white shirt was bleached, the whole thing would be white and not pink and white. A simple [redacted] search confirmed that this was not true, because bleach turns colors different colors, not just white. I would think someone who does laundry for a living would know this. I then told him that I thought he was lying and asked him to please do something for me being as though I paid a lot for this service. He said again un-apologetically that there was nothing he could do, he didn't even offer me a coupon or a voucher for the next time. He has horrible business practices and he should take a lesson in customer service.Desired Settlement: I paid $33 for the service and he ruined a shirt that was at least $30 last season.
