Review: I sent a watch to be repaired along with the payment to Russell in August of 2013. I keep getting excuses,like we are backed up, yours is next.Just last week I was told the watch was finally being shipped to me on Friday which was 3/**/2014. I feel like I have been ripped off. Why does it take so long to repair a watch? It doesn't. Something wrong is going on. This is absolutely the worst business transaction I have ever experienced. Does he not have a conscious!Desired Settlement: I want the repaired watch immediately, or my watch along with the payment sent back to me.

Review: I contacted cleanmywatch.com by phone initially to see if they could fix my watch. After they said they would evaluate the watch for a $50 fee, I mailed them the watch with $50 in cash. After they received it, it took him two weeks to finally respond to my calls about the watch. He said there were broken components in the watch that needed to be replaced and it would cost $550 to have them replaced and repaired. After telling him I would like the watch back without repairs, he requested that I send him another $10 for shipping back to my location. After about 2 months of waiting for the watch to come back, it finally arrived. I took the watch to another local watch repairman, and he quickly identified the problem of 5 loose screws in the mechanism, which he quickly repaired for a total cost of $10. I feel like cleanmywatch.com did not professionally inspect my watch and that I was cheated out of $50 for their poor service.Desired Settlement: I would like my $50 back for the evaluation fee. I do not even think cleanmywatch.com even evaluated my watch professionally. I expected a more thorough evaluation for the price I paid. I feel like if cleanmywatch.com would have done a professional evaluation, they would have identified the problem quickly without the overpriced quote of $550.

Review: I submitted two watches for repair in December 2012 to Clean My Watch. I was asked to submit $600 in December 2012 for half of the amount of the repair, and then in January 2013 I received a call from [redacted] of Clean My Watch that my watches were almost reparied and he requested another $620. I proceeded to contact him every two months for updates and was told that the Hurricane that hit New York and NJ had disrupted his repair business and to give him a little longer to repair my watches. I still continued to talk to [redacted] until finally April 2014 when he told me that one watch would be shipped within a few weeks. After hearing nothing in May or June 2014 I tried to call again and both telephone numbers for Clean My Watch were disconnected and the website email was never returned. I realize this has been a long process that should have come before you, but [redacted] seemed reasonable, always returned my calls until April 2014 and I foolishly let this drag on because of the seemingly plausable delay from a major Hurricaine.Desired Settlement: I wish to receive my two watches that remain unrepaired as well as $1220 in cash refund

Review: I had surface damage to the sapphire crystal in my Tag Heuer Aqua-racer Chronograph and wanted it replaced, with the old one returned with the watch so I could have it polished out. I received a quote from Cleanmywatch and after being contacted by the [redacted] and agreeing on terms, I sent the watch to him. After several days, I was contacted by the [redacted] ([redacted]) and he told me he didn't realize that the sapphire crystal was so much more expensive than a normal mineral crystal. I reminded him of our agreement and then agreed to pay the extra he was asking for. After several weeks, he contacted me and asked for funds to ship the watch back to me and told me the original crystal was destroyed during the removal process. I was furious, but had no choice, so I sent him that amount as well. When I received the watch, it (the crystal) didn't look right, but I was under a time crunch (extended trip abroad) so I didn't pursue it at that time. Once I returned, while I was putting the watch on, I dropped it about two feet onto carpeting and when I picked it up, a bezel inside the watch face had come loose. I took it to a local REPUTABLE jeweler who sent it to TAG for repair. I also asked them to "check the crystal" while they had it. The watch came back in fine working order with a new sapphire crystal and I was told that the one that they removed was a "lesser mineral crystal". They even sent the mineral one back with the watch (as is normal practice). I contacted [redacted] at Cleanmywatch, and after a lot of "talk" nothing was done and he has stopped responding to my emails. All I had asked for was a reimbursement for the "wrong crystal" being used in my watch.Desired Settlement: I had asked for a reimbursement for the "wrong crystal" being used in my watch. a difference of $121.00 After I told [redacted] what I expected to happen, he has refused to return any attempt to contact him.

The third week of January, I heard from [redacted] saying he would send me a check for the cost of the crystal with no result. I then received a call from [redacted] on 02/**/2014, at which time he stated he would send me a check that day. After waiting the next week, I called him on 02/** and he said "sorry, I got busy" and he would send it this week. So far only empty promises.

Review: Sent a Rolex Sub ETA watch/black face 40mm case serial #[redacted]/Hirsch rubber strap to [redacted] for repair in Oct 2013.

Sent two cashier's checks, 1st on 11/**/13 for $375 and on 12/**/13 for $400 "have copies of checks" for repair of above

listed watch. Have not received my watch has promised and company/[redacted] or CMW staff will not return my phone

calls to address my situation!Desired Settlement: I want my watch back and $775 repair costs mailed back to me in a cashiers

check as soon as possible!
