On Friday April 17,2020 I was attempting to go through car wash. A pick up truck in front of me was having issues with the conveyor belt and his truck was bouncing up and down. As he finally continued I was motioned to come forward and my van started to bounce as well. The attendant motioned for me to back up as I backed up there was a very loud bang. Attendant shrugged his shoulder and I continued to go through washer. At end of cycle I noticed my van was not exiting correctly. When I was out I noticed my tire was ripped from wheel.
My van is 2019 Dodge Caravan and I had less than 3000 miles on it.
I filled out a incident report, I wrote a letter to the manager, I called and asked to speak to the manager. There has been no return contact. It cost $976.73 to fix my van after it was towed.
I would like some compensation for the damage as I think it beyond normal risk of car washes.
I did send itemized repair report.
Customer ***Came in on 4-18-2020 at 2:50PM. Blue Dodge 2019 Caravan. As*** had pulled into the wash the customer ahead of her jumped the plastic rollers that pull customers through the wash process, the employee had then added rollers behind the pickup truck to ensure it doesnt jump rollers during the wash process. As *** pulled in the conveyor was still pushing rollers up to the top of the conveyor causing them to get put behind the front tires of her vehicle. How are conveyor works is the rollers need to be behind the rear tires of the vehicle, so the employee ask *** to back up over the plastic rollers and that is when she claims that the car wash had popped her tire. We have anywhere from 10-20 customers a day jump rollers in our wash due to them either having their foot on the brake or vehicle in park, and never have we had someone pop their tires on our plastic rollers.

The company did call and TOLD me nothing happened. They are not ethical pathetic
