Review: I hired David Sustad on May **, 2015 to powerwash my house and deck and stain my deck. Within a week of completion on July [redacted], I contacted [redacted] and told him that the deck was pealing. He replied that it was due to the heat. I replied that it is summer and he should know that the heat would do this so he should not have done it. Unfortunately I paid the balance in cash on July [redacted]. I have tried to reach him numerous times since and he doesn't return my phone calls. I had an attorney send a demand letter to both the address on file and a Post Office box and he has not responded.Desired Settlement: I would prefer a refund of $1100 (total contract was $2600) which was the cost for the portion of the work concerning the deck. The demand letter from the attorney stated we would like the work redone at no cost to myself by April **, 2016 or a refund. At this point I don't trust [redacted] and would like a refund. I am 86 years old and I feel like he took advantage of me and will do it again.
