I wanted to forward an update regarding my complaint #*** against
Clean4You in New Britain, CT
I received a refund for my house cleaning appointment from *** ***, since the vendor failed to honor the voucher as indicated in the sales contract. Therefore, I am no longer seeking a refund, however, my complaint against Clean4You still stands. To date, they have failed to contact me regarding the missed appointment on December 17, 2013. To be clear, the refund was from *** ***, which is where I initially purchased the voucher for house cleaning, not from Clean4You

Review: On September 13, 2013 I purchased a voucher from [redacted].com for two hours of house cleaning by Clean4You, a house cleaning company located in New Britain, CT. I had used Clean4You once in the past with satisfactory results. I paid $79.00 for the voucher, which expired on December 25, 2013.On November 8 I called the phone number listed for Clean4You and left a voice mail message to schedule a house cleaning appointment for December 17, 2013. I did not receive a call back, and after 3-4 days I called again. I then called once per day with no response until I obtained an email address ([redacted]) and emailed the company on November 14. On November 15 I received a call back from an employee at Clean4You who apologized for the delay and scheduled the appointment for December 17. He indicated that the appointment would take place in the afternoon, but said he would get back to me soon with an exact time. I agreed to this but asked him to let me know as soon as possible so I could make the arrangements to take the time off from work. He agreed and asked me to email him my [redacted] voucher number in order to set up the appointment, which I did the same day.I never heard back from Clean4You regarding my appointment time. On December 13 I left a voicemail and email asking to confirm an appointment time for December 17. I never heard back. I reluctantly took time off from work on December 17 in hopes that they would show up as promised, but no one showed. I never received any communication regarding a cancellation.On December 18 I left a voice message for Clean4You to express my disappointment, no response. On December 19 I sent an email as a follow-up. On December 20 I received an email back from the company, apologizing and stating that they would contact me soon to reschedule. She claimed that they did not keep my appointment because they were busy and the weather was bad (it snowed on the afternoon of December 17). I waited a few days for a call to reschedule; it never came. On December 27 I replied that since they never bothered to contact me to cancel my appointment and I had wasted a day off from work, that I was not interested in rescheduling and requested a refund of my $79.00. I never received a response. I sent a follow-up email on January 3, 2014 inquiring about the status of my refund, no response. Finally I sent an email on January 14, 2014 inquiring about the status of my refund and asked that they reply by January 17. No response.At this point, they have collected money from me for a service that they have failed to provide as agreed, and are clearly ignoring my attempts to contact them.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund of the purchase price for this service.
