Dear ***,I have recieved the complaint letter from *** *** and have a response.First, it is not our policy to not call customers regarding a problem, our record shows thatThe manager was simply never informed of the problem by the afternoon staff, this will be rectified.Once the
manager was notified, he explained to Mr*** that the area around the hole was very thin and looked like it was simply wearing out, a common problem in that area of mens shirtsTherefore, the hole was simply a result of age and wear and tear, not mishandling on our partIf the damage was caused by our mishandling, or the shirt was lost, we usually replace the shirt and not discount the amount due to age or wearThat is what was told to Mr***, not that we would simply pay him for his shirtWe clean approximately 1-thousand shirts a week and feel that we are somewhat familiar with causes of damage in specific areas of clothing, if and when they occurThe simple truth is clothes wear out and sometimes upon cleaning, damage developsAreas get weak and begin to get shear and then tearThe average life of a cotton shirt is only yearIt is not apparent the age of the shirt in question.It is unfortunate that Mr*** is not happy with our serviceI will look to correct the communication process in our store to avoid this in the futureThat being said, we do tell the truth as to the cause of problems and when responsible, take responsibility for themThis is not the case here.Yours,Drew J***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am not asking for any further response from the business. However, my complaint is unresolved, I still disagree with the assessment, the business handled this matter very poorly, and the manager was not customer-centric when he spoke to me. Again, I am not looking for any further response, but I will be looking for a new dry cleaner and will be sharing my experience with others.
