Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The Business's response mischaracterizes the situation The only contractor that was performing work in the house was an individual who was repairing tile in the bathroom I told the Business that I would have ideally liked the house cleaned after the contractor was done with the bathroom but I did not have the liberty to wait My complaint did not involve the cleanliness of the bathroom, the only place in which said contractor was working Nor did it involve cleanliness of the hardwood floors on which the contractor was walking My complaint, as written, focused on the kitchen and carpeted areas in which no contractor was working I brought in a company to stage the home after all work was done and was notified the house was not clean I was not aware of details at the time I contacted the Business about re-cleaning the home at a reduced rate Thereafter, the staging company sent detailed pictures of the issues, which included kitchen cabinets with food splattered all over them and cabinets with food and other debris inside As the house was vacant, there was nobody cooking or eating in the kitchen In addition, the carpet in the bedroom was not clean with visible dirt and stains I brought these matters to the Business's attention after receiving the photos but did not receive any additional response It is irresponsible of the Business to suggest that because I am out of town I did not know who was going in and out of my house In fact, I know every individual that was in and out of the house during the time period we were preparing the house for sale While the Business feels it is unfair to be held accountable for their work because seven weeks have passed, the Business has failed to offer any explanation and/or comment on why the kitchen cabinets and/or drawers were not cleaned properly Once again, I did not suggest that the Business was responsible for any mess that occurred in the bathroom, the only area in which a contractor was present The Business appears to be pushing blame where it does not belong rather than focusing on the particular issues I brought to its attention Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The Business's response mischaracterizes the situation.  The only contractor that was performing work in the house was an individual who was repairing tile in the bathroom.  I told the Business that I would have ideally liked the house cleaned after the contractor was done with the bathroom but I did not have the liberty to wait.  My complaint did not involve the cleanliness of the bathroom, the only place in which said contractor was working.  Nor did it involve cleanliness of the hardwood floors on which the contractor was walking.  My complaint, as written, focused on the kitchen and carpeted areas in which no contractor was working.  I brought in a company to stage the home after all work was done and was notified the house was not clean.  I was not aware of details at the time I contacted the Business about re-cleaning the home at a reduced rate.  Thereafter, the staging company sent detailed pictures of the issues, which included kitchen cabinets with food splattered all over them and cabinets with food and other debris inside.  As the house was vacant, there was nobody cooking or eating in the kitchen.  In addition, the carpet in the bedroom was not clean with visible dirt and stains.  I brought these matters to the Business's attention after receiving the photos but did not receive any additional response.  It is irresponsible of the Business to suggest that because I am out of town I did not know who was going in and out of my house.  In fact, I know every individual that was in and out of the house during the time period we were preparing the house for sale.  While the Business feels it is unfair to be held accountable for their work because seven weeks have passed, the Business has failed to offer any explanation and/or comment on why the kitchen cabinets and/or drawers were not cleaned properly.  Once again, I did not suggest that the Business was responsible for any mess that occurred in the bathroom, the only area in which a contractor was present.  The Business appears to be pushing blame where it does not belong rather than focusing on the particular issues I brought to its attention.

In response to this persons complaint I would like to make the following comments. The price of the clean was for cleaning Windows, Carpets and a house clean. The house and been left in very bad condition. The house was cleaned top to bottom including Carpets which I was in attendance...

to see them being cleaned. After the clean the customer asked if we could go back and do some tidy up work which was missed which was in the kitchen area down the side of the fridge. This was after the customers sister had gone round and inspected the work that we had done. We happily went back a couple of days later and completed this work. When we went back the house was already in a mess again from people going through the house (contractors I assume) I told this to the customer who openly admitted that she should probably have waited to have the cleaning done after all work was completed.7 weeks after our work had been done I receive an email from the customer who now starts to say the house was not cleaned properly and the carpets as well. As a business we do guarantee our work but not for a 7 week period. This customer had her sister go round and look over the house and after the cleaning and did not seem to have a problem. This customer has never looked at the house herself as she is out of the state. The customer asked if we could go back and clean the place again at a reduced rate. This was her request which I was happy to do. However when I emailed her back she said she could not wait 2 days for us to clean and had paid someone else to go round and clean again. This customer has no idea who was going in and out of that house over a 7 week period of time as no one was there to oversee any body who came or went.I have tried my best to do everything this customer has asked of me to help but how can I be held responsible for a 7 week delay after cleaning and when other people have been in and out of the house during this time.Kind RegardsDouglas M[redacted]
