Again I am sorry for the experience that you have had with my company thus far This is not a norm for us I am not going to throw a bunch of excuses at you as to why we have not been there to fix the problem I will tell you that I have not talked to your husband and I do not see a reason to get attorneys involved I am willing to fix what needs to be fixed that was in my control We did pour your driveway, installed rebar and did everything by code that would have been done with any drivewayLike I explained before we can not warranty the concrete nor can we prevent how it setsWe can only try and prevent the cracks from occurring but we can not guarantee them not to happen If you would please give me a call and we can discuss this further and hopefully come to a conclusion that we both would be happy withMy name is [redacted]

The salesman, Mr *** ***, has been to my home many times and taken pictures, supposedly to show to the owner of the company He told me last year in November, right after the first visit that he could do nothing to the concrete until it all set up, meaning he couldn't just replace the bad areas until the rest of the driveway cured The workers who poured and smoothed the concrete out, splashed it all over my family room sliding doors and screen, which he said he would clean off....no problem I am still waiting because I have no idea how to get it off I tried the internet but it calls for some sort of acid that I won't handle My husband is years old and I am nearly We hired this job to be done by what we believed and trusted to be professionals They destroyed my yard on both sides of the driveway which we have bought dirt and labored to repair ourselves They broke the front porch step that enters the front door and did a patch job that did not last days It has been one year in October and all the promises have not come to fruition The salesman told me he would be back in the spring and he came back once and took more pictures and nothing else has happened My husband called the owner once and threatened to sue and he told my husband "GO AHEAD, I WILL GET A LAWYER AND FU....ING BURY YOU" I have met Mr*** at my home on numerous occasions, so his story that no one is ever home is some more of their lies We made appointments to meet each time and I was always here Mr*** told me the very first time I called to complain about a crack (days after they finished) and he came out to look at it He told me that we would talk again in the spring and not to worry that we have a year warranty When he came back in the spring, he denied ever saying that, and lied again straight to my face I want my driveway fixed properly, nothing else

We received a voicemail from Mr*** on November The voicemail had not been checked in the few hours between the callThe hour call back policy had not been violatedThe owner did try to call Mr*** back on November 4th at approximately 4:30pm, Mr*** did not answer and a voicemail
was leftMr*** never returned the phone callThe complaint through the website was not receivedI see that we did not clean up the job from your point of view but as far as I have been notified, the debris was natural, not due to our crew cutting the lawnI would like to note that Clear Choice has been providing services to the property on *** *** in *** for several months now with no complaintsWe have always cleaned up the job upon completion and we take pride in the services we provideBeing that it was November 4, there were not many grass clippings and the majority of the debris were leaves from the trees aboveThe employee was confronted about the situation and stated that he blew the debris from the job off the streetHe acknowledged that there were leaves left in the street but said there were not debris from the jobBeing that he did not have anywhere to go with the leaves besides someone’s yard he left them so he did not anger anyoneWe attempt to go above and beyond in every aspect of our servicesIn this case, the other leaves were not blown in any direction to not anger anyoneHere at Clear Choice we take business and customer relations very seriously, we strive to be the best in our fieldMr***, I apologize that you had this experience with Clear Choice and we would like to make it right going forwardWe would like to fix the problem and ensure this is not a future problemPlease call the owner directly at *** to further discuss this situation and consider solutions

First I would like to apologize for the issue you are having with the concrete Unfortunately we can not warranty the concrete due to it is a product that we purchase not manufactureWe have come by the property several times while we were in the area but no one was home There was a
vehicle in the driveway but no one answered the door From what we can tell on the pictures the cracks are stress cracks We can not totally prevent them we can only do our best to try and prevent them buy installing rebar through out the driveway and saw cutting sections according to standard building codes and the size of the driveway I would be more than happy to meet with you regarding this issue If you could please call the office *** and let us know what would be a good time to meet with you I want you to be happy with your driveway and the service that we have provided

I am not satisfied by the company's response because their every answer to my complaint is filled with lies.  My husband and I were told by the salesman that he would clean up the mess that was left by the workers and they never did. He said that the cracks would be corrected in the spring, which he never did.  He told us we had a 3 year warranty, which was a complete lie.  They told you they have tried to talk to us but we never answer the door, which again is a lie.  I have made appointments with the salesman and he has taken many pictures and promised he would talk to the owner ([redacted]) and I was always here.  I have never received a call from anyone representing the company and they have my number and no correspondence has come in my mail, and they have the address!  I have tried everything and I dont plan on getting in a verbal confrontation with them because there is no point.  They are unable to tell the truth or fulfill a promise.  What more can I possibly tell you about the scruples of this company?

If the response from Clear Choice was in fact correct, I would not have a complaint.  Simply put it is totally inaccurate.  As I stated in my original complaint the leaves and grass clippings in the street were blown there by the young man cutting the grass.  After finishing cutting and trimming he proceeded to blow the leaves from the half of the street nearest the customer's home.  I asked him twice about the rest and I was told it wasn't necessary because the leaves would come back (none have as of this writing).  Again my next door neighbor (not the customer), his son and I blew the remaining leaves and grass clippings to the end of the street.  To the matter of no previous complaints I would like to add the grass clippings have been left in the street previously, but thinking it was a one time incident I did not follow up with any action.  This could have been resolved by Clear Choice saying it was an unfortunate oversight that will not happen again.  To my amazement that did not happen.

I [redacted] am the owner of the company and I will contact this customer.  I will report my conversation with her as soon as I speak with her.

Mr. [redacted] and looked at the front porch that is pulling away from his
property.  At the time of meeting him it was confirmed that this had
nothing to do with the original repairs that were done to the property by Clear
Choice prior to his...

purchase of the property.  We had an engineer come
back out to the property to see what needed to be done to fix the current issue
that he is having with the property.  It was determined that the front
porch needed to be removed and a new one or deck needed to be installed.
 We did explain to Mr. [redacted] that we would remove the porch for him and
seal the crack in the front of the property for him but we do not do decking.
 The original owner of the property was to get in touch with his decking
crew and see about putting a deck on the property.  We also referred a
decking specialist to the original owner but the original owner has not
responded to him.  I have spoken with Mr. [redacted] and explained that we
did not want to put him into the situation of taking off the front porch and
removing the entrance to his property unless he had something lined up to have
a decking reinstalled.  We did not want to inconvenience him in any way.
 Mr. [redacted] has informed me on 4/4/16 that he would like for us to go
ahead and remove the porch and seal the crack as he has a family member or
family friend that is going to help him install a new decking on the property.
 I explained to him that I would try and have this scheduled for him by
the end of the week with weather permitted.  He agreed to that schedule.

Regarding Claim #[redacted].  An appointment with the homeowners , myself and a representative from [redacted] concrete has been set for Monday 24th at 3 pm.  We are meeting to discuss the issues they are having with the concrete and to discuss any other issues or concerns that they may have.
