I am responding to a complaint letter (attached) we received through Revdex.com dated September 18, from a Mr*** *** regarding an a motorhome he purchased from us, on May 3, (purchase agreement attached)He purchased a used motorhome
from us, that he saw on eBayWe made a deal, and he paid for itHe came a few weeks later (May 21st, 2015) to pick it up, and he was not happy with the overall condition (he was offered, to have it indepently inspected, which he refusedWhen he came, we did offer to refund his money if he was not happy with it, but after discussing with him, he ended up happy (we thought) and then left with the motorhomeWe do sell of all of our RV's, as is, where is, and we welcome inspections before someone bids on the RV on eBayWhen customer's come, and are not happy, we try to work with them to either a) fix whatever issues they have, b) refund their money, or c) see if there is something else we have that will work for themIt is not our responsibility to have the units inspected by an independent inspector for the customer, this is clearly on the customer to have done BEFORE they bid or buy something onlineSo bottom line, after he inspected the RV at our lot, he left happy and satisfied and went homeWe did not hear back from him, until TWO months later (July 2nd, 2015), when he left a negative feedback remark on eBayUp to that point, he had not contacted us, or emailed us, or called usWe presumed he was satisfied with his purchase, since over a month and a half had passed since he picked it upAt this point, we opened the lines of communication up with the customer, to see what the issues were, then and only then did he say he wanted $for these supposed repairs (which we asked for an invoice/quote, and never saw)I have multiple emails and phone call records, showing we did communicate with the customer, and we tried to resolve itWe even offered to buy it back, after the fact, but he refused, just saying he wanted $He also attempted to leave a YELP review and eBay review, which were removed by the respective companies, as they were found to be untrue statementsWe are still open to discussion with the customer, to find a satisfactory result

Just more lies
There was no offer of an independent inspection
They never asked for an invoice of the repairs
They did not offer to refund my money
They did offer to apply what I paid to something elseThat would not have worked
They lied about the cost of the roof repairAfter seeing the hole in the roof and asking what a new roof cost they said $Totally false
The reviews I left on Ebay and Yelp were not falseThey are the truth
The reviews were removed by those sites because they lied about the issue being resolvedI was on vacation at the time and could not respond by the deadline and so they were removedIt was not because they were false
They say they want to resolve this but they cut off communication
Again the main issue is that their advertising was falseThis coach was in their words "Excellent Condition"Far from itThere was a hole in the roof, a cracked windshield, body damage to the rear, awnings were rotted and ripped, the inside was very dirty - not at all as pictured
I relied on their advertising as well as a conversation with someone called B.Jwho said "it's a great coach, nothing wrong."
I was not offered a refund while there and was only given the option of applying what I had paid to another purchase
I seem to remember that a refund was offered later on but at that point I had paid for the repairs
The issue again is the fact that their advertising and statements about the condition were totally false
I didn't expect to have to spend $10k to get it usable

Hell *** this is in reference to Case XXXXXXX for *** ***We received a response from you (attachment is attached)I tried to you the online form submitter, but it isn't working, as we don't have a password to it?
In any case, after reviewing the correspondence back from the customer, we will have to agree to disagree on exactly what happenedAgain, we sell of our RV's as is, where isWe welcome inspections BEFORE and AFTER the sale, and if the customer does not want it, they do not have to sign the agreementIf issues or mechanical problems arise after the customer takes the RV, and drives it thousands of miles, we can not be held responsible for thisThey are used motorhomes, which eventually will require maintenance and repairs, just like any mechanical vehicleHowever, in the spirit of resolving this, we welcome the customer to forward us any invoices or quotes for repairs they had done, and we can look at them, and see what we can doEither reimburse for some of them, or have the customer bring the RV back to our shop, so we can attend to any issues at our location

They seem to keep wanting to hide behind the "AS IS" excuse
I bought this RV based on their advertising that it was in excellent condition and conversations with them where they stated "IT IS A GREAT COACH, NOTHING WRONG"
The problems did not come up because of a drive to Colorado but existed when I arrived to pick it up
If they would have been honest about the condition I would not have bought it
I know it is not new but the condition should have been disclosedThey should have been honest
The plain and simple truth is that they liedI should have refused to take it then sued them for my money back
I have fixed the major items; the hole in the roof, the rotted awnings, the body damage, as well as spending three days to clean the inside as it was not as in the pictures they advertisedIt was filthy
Items to still fix are the cracked windshield, the control for the heat and A/C ( they both run at the same time) and the furnace blower (motor squeals/bearings are shot)
Again all these items existed when I picked it upThese are not from the drive home
If they want me to cover the repairs that would be greatI feel they are responsible for a major part of the repairsI would expect to have repairs over time but again these problems should not have existed at all
They had cut off communication even to the point of not getting me what I needed to get tags for itThat process wound up much more involved because of that

This letter, is in response to a case that Mr*** *** opened up (Case #XXXXXXXX) regarding a used motorhome he purchased from usMr*** had the RV delivered to his place of residence in Nevada, and had every opportunity to inspect the
motorhome prior and post saleHe bought the RV onlineHe is saying that we lie and cheat, and this could not be further from the truthWe have multiple emails with Mr***, as he indicated the RV was dirty upon arrival (it was delivered over miles to him), and that the fridge did not workThe fridge was working on departure, as was the microwaveWe tried to resolve this with Mr***We asked for an invoice/quote for the fridge repair and microwave repair, but he never gave them to usIn fact, he told us to never contact him again, as he was "done" with usI was perplexed why he would not furnish us with either a) the repair facility he said the RV was at b) an invoice for repairs done or c) a quote for repairs doneI told him, if we had a contact number for the repair facility, or at least a quote for the required work to be done, that we would look at reimbursement/repair costsBut he never didHe just said he wanted $from us, otherwise he would go to the Revdex.comI think we are in the right, to ask for at least a quote or invoice for the work that was to be/or to be done, before we paid out any moniesSo at this point, we are still willing to work with the customer, but we do need to know the diagnosis and the costs associated with thisIn addition, even though the RV was delivered upon his request, we can also reimburse for exterior cleaning, but again, we do need a quote or invoice for obvious reasons

This company has no morales nor classThey lied, and daily they changed their storyI asked the owner *** twice to contact the company that was repairing RVHe always wanted more with out actions the kid *** that he give the power too is out spoken just as much as the ownerNever said he would clean RV as I have place 3,into this RV and a bad tires that Les Tires are replace at per hourDon't let this company pull the wool over your eyesThey should be closed down and placed on every bad list

HelloThe title work was done, and you should receive the title and plates within days or so The temp permit you were issued, is god until the plates and title arrive to your address.Thank you
