the opener and the safety sensors I found that the wires going to the sensors were ripped out of the sensors casing. I notified the warranty company to what I had found that the wires were ripped out of the sensors. This is not an issue that happens normally, the wires have to be pulled out or ripped out by dropping something on them. The warranty company denied the claim due to neglect/abuse. The customer's husband then got belligerent and started cursing at my helper and myself saying this company is an f... joke they never f... fix anything. Why did I f.... even call for you to come out here. I offered to replace the sensors with new ones at which he stated it needs f..., done so do it. If this Is acceptable free speech then I must have higher standards. After replacing the sensors I got the garage door to start to operate in the closing function. As it would close it all of a sudden it reversed and went back up. I closed the door again and watched the right side of the door (looking out) track pull away from the garage doorframe causing the door to sense force and reverse so it didn't crush anything. I then disconnected the garage door from the opener and ran the opener through it cycles of open and close and it operated fine.I Informed the customer of the issue with the track pulling off the door due to someone removing the lag bolts that held it to the framing. I referred him to a garage door company that would be able to realign the door. He stated as long it is about a panel height off the ground that is fine that is where we keep it for the dog to be able to get in and outI received a call from [redacted] on December 2, 2013. Stating that the garage door was not working properly. After I returned to office and looked at my notes I refused to go back out to the customer home due to the treatment that was imposed to my helper and myself, along with the abuse that the door and opener sustained. This did not warrant a service call under any type of warranty. After explaining this to [redacted] she then continue to badger and harass my self to the point where I had to let her know that if it continued I would have to notify the police. Two weeks later I receive this complaintI will not be refunding her any money or going back out to her house. I have however notified the warranty company, of which I do still work for, of her harassment and the issue she is causing. I will also be taking these letters to my attorney and proceeding with any legal action that I can against [redacted] for slander and harassment. Anything that is document publicly to this issue that will put a negative impact on my company's name or mine will have legal action brought against them. If you would like references from any of my other thousands of customers to attest to my work ethic, quality and standing behind my work I'm more then happy to get their names to you.

Our expectations of Clear Horizons were not unrealistic, but utterly reasonable. We originally waited weeks for **. [redacted] to return to fix the problem with the sensors after he indicated he would do so.  He then refused to make the repairs and made false allegations about how he was treated, alleging that is why he would not correct his faulty work.
All we asked was that the company do one of two things -- repair the sensors so that the door works with the remote control . . . or refund our money.   He has even resorted to bullying tactics threatening law suits because we filed complaints with the appropriate agencies.  This company is to be avoided.

Review: [redacted] of Clear Horizons Construction was sent to our home by [redacted] Home Warranty company to repair our garage door, but he told us the repairs were not covered by the warranty. He said he'd be happy to make the repairs for $167.00, which we agreed to pay to get the problem fixed. Within a few days, the door was not working again. We contacted him by email and by phone, and he emailed that he was out of town but would come within the week to correct the problem. Weeks went by and we heard nothing. We contact him again by phone and by email and got a response saying he would not come to correct the problem. He complained that he didn't like our attitudes and that my husband had argued with him about the repairs. It is true my husband expressed his displeasure, but all within the realm of acceptable free speech. And he never stated any such issues in his original messages saying he'd resolve the problem.[redacted] Home Warranty has advised they have had many complaints and he has been dropped from its list of contractors. It seems this company now has a reputation of shoddy work and an owner who makes excuses, misrepresents facts and does not stand by his work.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund the $167 paid to repair the garage door sensor.
