Review: I paid this company $550 and they agreed to procure me 0-6.99% interest after the initial 0% for 18 months on a credit card that I transferred balances from 2 credit cards to. I was to contact them after the 18 months of 0%. The 18 months of 0% interest has just expired and now I am stuck with a significant balance at 17.99% interest on that credit card. I attempted to contact them by phone (could not get through, apparently a Canadian #). I sent 3 emails (no response). I sent a certified letter to them (undeliverable as addressed)Desired Settlement: I just want my $550 credited to my credit card. They failed to provide the services they guaranteed. I was a little skeptical when I accepted their offer but needed to do something to better my financial status. They failed me and they are still advertising. I will never trust another financial service company. The whole ordeal will cost me more than the $550 I paid them.

Sincerely,

Review: Paid for Financial Services to include lowering interest charges on credit cards. I have a written Agreement that states they the lower rate is valid for 60 months, but credit card company says they only agreed to 14 months. I can no longer reach them by phone, the number says invalid. I have e-mailed with no response.Desired Settlement: I would like to reach them to fix this problem or refund my money.

Sincerely,

Review: A year or so ago (July **, 2012) I answered a phone call in which this company offered me 0% interest on charge cards. I signed up - Paid $387 for a 5yr service. They failed to mention the 5% transfer fee. I tried to get out of the agreement but they said it was too late. After thinking it over, and processing the cost of interest for a year it did seem like a good deal. They told me that if they could not find another 0% interest card, they would refund the remainder of my upfront payment. At the end of a year they were supposed to find me a new charge card company with 0% interest. The year ran out. I was supposed to call them when terms were up but the numbers I had were no longer in use..I looked on their web site and that number was also not in use. It seems the number I had and the website number were transposed. Anyway, my other credit card company offered me 0% for a year so I transfered my funds. I did submit a claim on their website for the $387 up front payment and the $68 interest billed to me on my first bill without the 0% interest. I never got a response from the website.

Is this a legitimate company or was I scammed?Desired Settlement: Refund of initial payment $387- they did not honor their agreement- and the $68 interest I paid.

Sincerely,

Review: Clearlight Financial Services, representative [redacted] contacted me in December 2012. [redacted] offered to get me 0% interest on a balance transfer to a new credit card for a period of 18 months. He also said I would have 4 additional years at 0% if my payments were always on time. My payments were always on time. In December of 2013 my interest rate went up in twelve months to 18.99% instead of the 18 months that he had discussed with me. I paid a fee of $815 for this service and didn't get anymore than if I had done the balance transfer myself. I have tried to get in touch with this company and [redacted] several times and haven't been able to make contact over the phone or by email.Desired Settlement: Refund of interest charged and fee of $815 CFS charged me.

Sincerely,

Review: I was contacting Clearlight FS because another financial company was going to be taking over my account that they set up. I was trying to cancel their services but the 2 email addresses I had on paperwork came back as undeliverable. I even tried [redacted] and that email came back. They have all of my account information, which is sensetive material. They opened a Credit Card in my name with all of my information stateing that I was given 5 years of 0 % APR interest. That is not the case and I can't even get any additional information. I was charged $650 for this service. They were supposed to combine two other credit cards to the new one and didn't. I used the Citibank checks to pay off the two other credit card accounts and then I was charged fees of$300+ for each transaction.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $650, plus the $600 fees charge for the transfer of the two other cards

Sincerely,

Review: I had a written contractual agreement for services with clear light for 60 months starting on November [redacted] 2012. I paid $2395 at the time. I contacted them two weeks ago and was able to talk to an employee from this company who agreed to have one of her agents contact me the following week. That phone call never occurred. I attempted to contact clear light financial services today . The phone number is no longer in service.Desired Settlement: I am not optimistic this company is in business any longer and I am probably at a loss with the money I paid . I would like to know what can be done if anything with this issue . Thank you [redacted]

Response:

To whom it may concern

I am requesting a refund. The contract I have in writing the fee of $2395 includes ClearLight services for 60 months. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone from ClearLight 11 months after this contract was executed. The phone number listed on the contract is no longer in service. I led to believe I have unfortunately been scammed. I wish to proceed with report to Revdex.com. Thank you [redacted]

Review: I entered into a contract with ClearLight Financial Services in October of 2012 for an Interest Rate Reduction Service for which I paid the amount of $1425.00. This entitled me to a 0% interest rate for a period of 60 months. This has not been honored. The interest rate increased to 19.9% March of 2014. Although the company has a live web site still offering this service, their telephone number on that site, ###-###-####, the same contact number from 2012 is not valid.

I emailed the [redacted] from 2012, [redacted], [redacted] - Client Services on 6/**/14 when I first noticed that my interest rate was no longer 0%. This email did not bounce back.

On 7/*/14 I received a call from CCS Solutions telling me ClearLight is no longer in business, that CCS Solutions has taken over the company and would be happy to reduce my interest rate back to 0%, for a fee of $700.00.

Today, July [redacted], I contacted [redacted], the account that ClearLight set up on my behalf at 0% having consolidated my then two credit card debts totaling $9,452.00 and including their 1,425 fee into this new [redacted] - for a new total indebtedness of $10,877 - on a new credit line of $11,500. A [redacted] informed me that their agreement with ClearLight was 0% for 15 months and further that [redacted] can be of no assistance to me in this matter.

Verbally I was assured the 0% rate would hold until I paid off the debt. After all that was the purpose of their advertisement, becoming debt free. I was advised to make timely payments and to make payments greater than the minimum due, which I did. Further, should at any time [redacted] increase my rate from 0% to contact ClearLight and they would be sure to take it back to 0% again.

However in writing, this is what my agreement with ClearLight states:

"Your fee includes our services for the duration of 60 months. Should we not be able to fulfill our commitment of maintaining your rate between 0%-6.9%for the 60 months, your file will be subject for review and a pro-rated credit may be issued".

Since Oct 2012 I have paid this debt down from $10,877 to $6,892.25, approximately $4,000, while never introducing any new charges clearly intending to become debt free. The [redacted] working on my file at that time was a [redacted] x [redacted] of the now defunct telephone number currently advertised on their website.Desired Settlement: I would like to hold ClearLight accountable to their agreement and receive either a pro-rated credit ($1,068.75) based on the fee I paid ($1,425.00) or an interest rate reduction no higher than 6.9%.

Sincerely,

Review: On July **,2012 I spoke with a gentleman named [redacted] at ext[redacted] and he agreed to be my financial advisor for the next 5 years. He charged my Discover card with a one time fee of $1250.00 and said that they would get me 0% financing for the next 5 years on my credit card. I was told I had to call them back in a year to update my records and to make sure I could keep the 0% financing on my credit cards. I called them back in early July and they had to change a credit card to another company and they were not able to get me 0% financing on one of my cards so they paid off one of my cards and put it on another card in my husbands name. That 0% interest on that card was only good for a year and is now up. One of my cards also expired 0% financing in February and is now 21.99%. I have been trying to call them for a week now and when I dial the phone it doesn't ring. I have a feeling they have gone out of business.Desired Settlement: If this company is out of business I would like my money back because I did not get what I paid for.

Sincerely,

Review: I was contacted by this company and they told me that for a fee of either $300 or $400 my credit card balance would remain at 0% for the life of the loan and I could at any time transfer other credit card loans to it. My interest rate has been at 0% since January of 2012, it has now jumped to 11/99%. I called the credit card company and they said they could not do anything for me.Desired Settlement: I would like my payment of either $300 or $400 and in addition, all of the interest I am now paying, which is currently $65 per month. I have requested that the credit card company sends me all of my transactions from the life of the loan, so I can determine the initial amount they charged me for this "service".
