Dear Revdex.com and customer,We have received the customer's complaint We want you to know that we take complaints very seriously Immediately upon receiving the complaint I ordered a review of the customer's claim Our review showed that the customer was indeed promised a couple of Visa gift cards Our records show that the redemption forms were mailed to the customer, but never redeemed I assume the customer never received them or inadvertently discarded themRegardless, our customer support team has spoken with the customer and reissued the redemption forms for Visa gift cards in the amount of $ Those were placed in the mail this week and should arrive at the customer's house any day.We apologize for any frustration experienced by the customer and we hope this resolves the matter satisfactorily Please let me know if you need anything else from us.Regards, Spencer H***Associate In-House Counsel

Dear Revdex.com and customer,We have received the customer's complaint We want you to know that we take such complaints very seriously The customer reached out to Clearlink in November to discuss his complaint At that time, it was determined that the services sold to the customer were not available in the customer's area, as originally believed As a side note, Clearlink sells on behalf of AT&T and DirecTV, which recently merged into one company and sell their services together Therefore, while they still brand themselves as separate companies at times, AT&T and DirecTV are the same company Together, they offer phone, internet, and TV When it was realized that the services weren't available as promised, DirecTV waived its usual $cancellation fee Likewise, Clearlink offered the customer a $Visa gift card as an apology If the customer would like to have his AT&T service cancelled, Clearlink may be able to assist with reaching out to AT&T While we regret any inconvenience experienced by the customer, we believe this puts the customer back in the position he was in before this transaction We do not believe that the customer is entitled to more than $in damages when the customer has already been put back in his original position.We hope this resolves the matter satisfactorily Please let us know if we can help with anything else.Sincerely,Spencer H***Associate In-House CounselTell us why here

The attorney for this company is absolutely making false statements. I was never antagonistic to their people and their actions was exactly as described. not available in the customer's area, as originally believed.  As a side note, Clearlink sells on behalf of AT&T and DirecTV, which recently merged into one company and sell their services together.  Therefore, while they still brand themselves as separate companies at times, AT&T and DirecTV are the same company.  Together, they offer phone, internet, and TV.  When it was realized that the services weren't available as promised, DirecTV waived its usual $450 cancellation fee.  Likewise, Clearlink offered the customer a $200 Visa gift card as an apology.  If the customer would like to have his AT&T service cancelled, Clearlink may be able to assist with reaching out to AT&T.  While we regret any inconvenience experienced by the customer, we believe this puts the customer back in the position he was in before this transaction.  We do not believe that the customer is entitled to more than $2000 in damages when the customer has already been put back in his original position.We hope this resolves the matter satisfactorily.  Please let us know if we can help with anything else.Sincerely,Spencer H[redacted]Associate In-House CounselTell us why here...

gift cards.  Our records show that the redemption forms were mailed to the customer, but never redeemed.  I assume the customer never received them or inadvertently discarded them. Dear Revdex.com and customer: We have received the customer's complaint.  We want you to know that we take complaints very seriously.  We have an entire Quality Assurance team dedicated to reviewing calls to ensure that, at all times, our sales agents are professional and do not misrepresent...

our clients' products and services.Upon receiving the complaint, I immediately requested that all the calls with the customer be reviewed.  While there are some instances where our agents could have handled themselves more appropriately, the majority of the calls consist of the customer antagonizing the agents; to the point where one of our agents hung up on the customer out of frustration.  We do not condone any inappropriate behavior from our agents and we apologize for any such behavior.  All the agents involved in this complaint that still work for us have been spoken to by their managers regarding their handling of this situation.As a point of clarification, when the customer originally placed an order in 2013, the order was never properly completed.  The call was cut short (reason unknown) before the customer's order was finalized.  This miscommunication may have been the reason no installation tech came to the customer's house.  For that we apologize.  As for the recent call, we confirmed that the agent gave the customer accurate information about what was available in his area.  We understand the frustration of the customer that he may not have been able to find services that met his needs.  However, we are merely a retailer for CenturyLink and have no control over the products and services they offer.  We hope this resolves the matter satisfactorily.  If the customer changes his mind, we are happy to do our best to help him find services that meet his needs.  If not, we understand and wish him good luck with another service provider.
