[redacted] Dear [redacted] , as per our conversation this matter has not been resolved as, I received another bill from Clear View for over six thousand dollars They are to charge me $1,and have agreed to accept 8, $payments for it I on my part have sent the first of these payments and am due to make the second in a week's time I'm upholding my end of the bargain but they are not upholding theirs.Thank you for your kind consideration, [redacted] ***

There is an agreement between the patient and the hospital that the bill will be reduced to $1,600, to be paid at the rate of $per month The bills come from the home office, not the local hospital The local hospital has requested that the next bill be corrected to reflect the agreement and payments to date

Dear [redacted], Thank you for informing us of our customer’s concerns regarding our business. (ID...

[redacted]) Please see below our response to the customer’s concerns. Based on your concerns regarding your charges for your inpatient stay and the temperature at our facility an internal investigation was completed. Our internal investigation included a review of your bill, interview of staff involved, review of our equipment maintenance record, and review of associated policies and processes. When a patient is being transferred from one facility to another, it is the responsibility of the sending facility to inform the patient that they are being transferred to an in network or out of network facility. Patients have the right to refuse to be transferred to an out of network facility. They have the right to wait at the transferring facility until an in network facility accepts them as a patient. Once a patient is transferred to an out of network facility, admitted, and stabilized, either the patient or their insurance company can request a transfer to an in network facility. Unfortunately, it appears this information was not effectively communicated to you prior to sending you to our facility.  It is my understanding that you have negotiated a payment plan for your hospital stay with Clear View Behavioral Health’s billing department.  If you have additional concerns, please contact the billing department at Clear View Behavioral Health. In response to your concern regarding the temperature at our facility during your stay, our investigation noted that an HVAC contractor serviced our facilities heating system and adjusted the ambient temperature of the building for everyone’s comfort.
