RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I'm not going to continue arguing with you. I had a dinner party on Sunday (actually and open house to introduce my new home). I was not able to get the windows cleaned as I had hoped (and they are quite dirty from the construction next door). This was more than a minor "inconvenience." My phone caller ID show no calls on Friday other than the one in the morning when we rescheduled. My husband was with me when I called you on Saturday and we both heard your answering machine message before I left mine asking you to come on Monday. The previous BBB complaint mirrors mine - failed to show and failed to call. You agreed to wash their windows for no charge to resolve the complaint. Unfortunately, I am not willing to to take the risk of having you not show up again (this is the second time it has happened to me). If you are not willing to compensate me for not having my windows cleaned for the open house, I guess we'll just have to leave my complaint as unresolved. As far as [redacted] goes - you say the complaints are from non-customers, and yet many of them mention your name and the problems are all the same as mine - workers calling in sick, and failure to return calls. I know you believe you did call, but I would never have gone to the BBB if you had. Regards, [redacted]

Dear ***,
I am not going to discuss the matter regarding *** as I know for certain that many of those reviews are from non-customers who have never received our service. The mater in hand at the moment is that we rescheduled the appointment we had scheduled for Saturday and our messages did not get received by you or me. Again, my apologies for any inconvenience this might have caused you. The one thing I do take offense is that you are making assumptions that I am lying to you and this is the ONE thing I do not ever doI did not get your voicemail offering to change the appointment to today otherwise I would have confirmed this to you and made sure your windows got cleaned one way or another. You decided to hire another company to clean your windows, I totally understand this and do not blame you at all. You needed your windows cleaned and your looked somewhere else. I just don't understand why you think we should be paying you for the service when another company cleaned your windows! If I had cleaned your windows and did a BAD job and you where asking for your money back that is different. We would give you your money back but we did not provide you with any service on this occasionAgain, my apologies for any inconvenience
Thanks again,
CLEAR VIEW of Eastlake

Hello ***, good afternoon,
I received a complaint from you regarding the missed window cleaning appointment. As you know I called you first thing in the morning Friday morning, 5/to request a reschedule of our window cleaning appointment as of my workers had called in
sick that day. We agreed to reschedule for Saturday, May 2, at 8:00am. Again both workers could not come to work on Saturday for which I left a voicemail for you on Friday evening to notify you and request a reschedule again. I did talk to you on Friday but have not spoken to you since and have not received any calls from you. Unfortunately, this is the one part of the business that I can't control. If workers are not feeling well or for some reason can't come to work they are requested to call to let us know. When any of us are not feeling 100% we encourage them not to work as it can be dangerous, specially when climbing ladders. With regards to ***, I have never used this site and do not plan on using it any time soon. None of the people who decided to review us have ever had their windows cleaned by CLEAR VIEW. 99% of the time it's actually another competing company who is writing a bad review. I guess they have plenty of time on their hands and nothing better to do with their time. For the past years I have only worker with #companies such as the Revdex.com and other advertising companies who can help our company to continue to grow. Actually, one of our main priorities after cleaning the windows at any new customer is that we do ask them to write a review of our business and the service they received on the dayIt surprised me that you actually decided to write a complaint to the Revdex.com as we have cleaned the windows of your previous home in San Diego, in the past at least 2-times. I apologize if there was a break down in our communication and that we did not get a chance to clean your windows. The good news is both my workers are back to work tomorrow, Tuesday May 5th. With regards to compensating you for having another company clean your windows this is certainly something we just can't do. If I would have received your voicemail requesting a reschedule, I would have been more than happy to reschedule this for you. Unfortunately as I mentioned earlier when workers call in sick it forces us to reschedule with our customers.
Again, my apologies for any inconvenience. I want to thank you for using our services in the past, very much appreciate your business*** ***

The company did not call me on SaturdayI left a voice mail and no call was returnedThe company has done this before (not showed up and did not call, but because they were local and did good work when they showed up, I gave them another chance.) *** claimed to have left a voicemail for me on FridayThis is completely untrue and follows the typical patter " My workers called in sick" "I left you a voicemail" etcetc.I was home all day and received no call from Clear View of Eastlake (other than the first call, postponing the Friday appt to Saturday)I left a voicemail on Saturday with no callback either Saturday or today, MondayClear View of Eastlake should read what customers are saying about his business on ***I doubt that people mistook them for another company
