My experience with Clearview TV was not goodJack *** picked up my tv and $to check it out and give me an estimateThe $was to be applied to the cost of repairIn a few days he called me to tell me it would cost about $to make the repairsI agreed and told him to go ahead.After about a week I called to see where we stoodHe said he was waiting on a part, and it was due in shortly and he would keep me postedNot trueI waited a few days and called him againHe said the part came in but it was defective and he would have to reorder itI called him again after about a week and he said the part he ordered was not the part he needed and he would have to order another part and by the way it was now going to cost about to fixAt this point it became clear what was going onI told him to forget the whole thingShame on me for giving him the benifit of the doubt for so longI would not recommend this guy to anyoneI feel like he lied to me several times and stole $from meLesson learned
RUN! I have never had a worse encounter with a business since I moved to Florida 12 years ago. I paid this thief $115. to take my 70 inch TV to tell me he can't fix it, buy a new one. When I asked him how much the part was if he were to fix it he had no idea he had to look it up, called me back 2 days later. Told me part was over $1000. best to buy a new TV. So I told him bring back my old set (which had the brackets on the back to my entertainment center still sitting in my living room) He said he was busy but would bring it back the following week by Thurs or Fri. Two weeks later still no call or TV. I had to call him again and he said I will bring it to you tomorrow. Now he took the set 2-21-16 and 3-28-16 he pulls up to my driveway with 2 brackets for a mounting system and said I don't have your TV you told me to throw it away. I lost it, a Thief and now a Lier. After I advised him I was notifying the police he said he would look for it and 3-29-16 my TV appeared with my brackets. What kind of shop is he running...BEWARE!
