I have been [redacted] off all the rest of the ins money and no work done. and he is stayinghome to fix a water heater and bec of snow noweven come. he is a [redacted] and lier . No one shouldtrust him. Business Response This job HAD an original start and end date per the contract but due to add-ons that not only did she authorize but signed a change order agreement for those add-ons the completion date had to be reset to the end of January. Unfortunately, because its impossible to predict all things that remodeling can uncover, it can make it very hard to plan for. Case in point, there were two other jobs scheduled before the contract was signed for this job and due to the extension put on by these change orders, her job was then extended for another two weeks to take care of those jobs. This arrangement was made verbally and confirmed through email. I had no reason to think that she didn't agree to something she told me she agreed to. Then the snow and ice storms hit hard within a two week period. Contrary to what the client says, there was actually a total of 13 inches of snow and at least a few inches of ice. Conditions like that are very treacherous and I don't risk by truck and trailer during those times. I expected understanding but all I got was threats and accusations. Mother Nature is out of my control. So, coincidentally, I was back on the job when she sent in this complaint. I was physically on the job site moving forward and working very hard to make up for lost time and to complete her.So, nobody took her 12,000 and did nothing. Her job is now just about complete and although there were change orders, weather problems, sickness on mine and her part, no one has forgotten about her, lied to her or have been anything but patient and responsible. The client is a nice lady and she has been through a lot with previous contractors. So, I don't hold it against her to be very paranoid and skeptical that everyone is out to get her. This complaint though is premature and completely inconsiderate to the facts. What else can I do as a business owner but to work with my client as best I can with all variables in front of me and be honest and upfront about how these variables will affect the job and make our plans accordingly. Final Consumer Response Clear cut remodeling finally responded to my online complaints and is finally finishing up the job.I have no complaints now but it seems that my complaint served the purpose of getting his attention. You can say he finally came through after a long time of stalling and is doing a good job at present. He woke up after I complained and got busy.
