Mazen Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service from representative Mazen. Was able to get my account straightened out with care and ease. Thank you so much.

Clearview representatives lied about my service informing me that I had to switch to their service. They coached me through a phone call known as their "contract", but never signed anything. They said nothing would change on my bill other than the supplier's name. When I got my bill, it nearly tripled in price. Even after informing their supervisor, [redacted] , of all the lies, they continue to charge me a fee for leaving.

I had this woman show up at my door, telling my mom she didn't have to be the account holder and told her what to say and said their kWh was the best rate and we'd save money each month on my electricWished I looked into it because the past months my fee INCREASED by 50%!! This company is a fraud!!

employees from this company scammed myself and my neighbors by misrepresentation
On Friday evening, at 4:30pm, women came to my door (inside of a locked apartment building, requiring access by the property manager or by an individual outside) and informed me they were here from Maryland state to tag my electrical meter due to the energy usageI am currently a renter and informed them of thisThey said it didn't matter and that they just needed my permission because I am occupying the apartmentThey also said that the primary reason they were there was because the meters were old and outdated and newer meters needed to be put inBelieving they were from Maryland state and this had to do with equipment compliance, and being caught offguard just coming home from a long day at work, I let them in and gave them my informationThey both talked with me and made comments like "this is something we have do and most people miss us because of our hours", and "this will not effect your energy rates"Nothing was given to me no paperwork, no informationIf they mentioned the company name, I missed itThey had me confirm my identity with an individual over the phone and this was the first time I heard the company name AND heard the words "enroll"The woman on the phone thanked me for enrolling, but I had NO IDEA I had enrolled in anythingThis was not explained to meWhile both women said "do you understand" multiple times and I understood what they were telling me, but what they were saying was misleading and incompleteI obviously DID NOT want to enroll in a different energy source in fact, the words 'different supplier' or 'different energy provider' or ANYTHING LIKE THAT were never spoken
Additionally, my neighbors called the police and the police officer said that they are not allowed to solicit at apartment complexes because they do not have permission from the property ownerSo, these women were there illegally and illegally gained access to a locked complex
A fellow neighbor had the name of of the women I believe he said Breanna
Even if Clearview could give better prices, I'd rather pay more from BGE if this is how they do business

Yes l want to be removedThe sales girl was very unprofessional ran off on me while asking me to go retrieve a billHad to go and find her to return Then she was very loud ignorant at my doorHad to
Call police to get the siituation under control

The clearview "manager" was very pushy and unprofessional. When I said I'm not interested and he didn't get it, I ended up slamming my door because he seemed like he was just going to barge in my house. at which point he decided to take a cheap shot and try to belittle me by saying he probably makes more money than I ever will. I opened my door just to laugh in his face. Sorry but that was hilarious. I also called the police, who said I should call them again if he comes back around.

Had a Clearview Energy sales representative at my door today. She was quoting a specific kWh rate that their company offered while stating that it was the best rate available. Also was using documents from Ameren's website to suggest that Clearview Energy was a preferred provider by Ameren.

When I suggested that her data was lacking useful information to make an informed decision (besides the kWh rate), she became agitated and acted unprofessionally. It is also my opinion that the sales representative was misrepresenting facts to deceive potential customers by using outdated or doctored documents from Ameren's website.

As it turns out, her quoted kWh rate was more than my current rate by about $.02 per kWh. I believe I am already part of a municipal aggregation plan that is superior to Clearview Energy's individual rates. I would recommend that anyone considering this be sure to check your current and past rates through Ameren's website to make sure your not making a poorly informed decision.

I am a college student living in an apartment. A sales representative came to my door and said he was from Clearview and that he needed a copy of my electric bill because there were charges that he needed to take off. I got my bill and I asked why Ameren would send another company to take their charges off of my bill. He said [redacted] hired his company to go door to door to inform customers. Nothing was said about switching services. He called his company and nothing was said about switching services. I was not informed that I would be switching services, and when I asked, he only told me that he was taking the charge off of my bill. Then, I was on the phone with a representative. The sales rep at my door wrote yes/no on my bill and pointed to what I needed to say to answer the questions. He said I didn't need to be the account holder, and when the sales rep on the phone asked if I was, I said no. The sales rep at my door got very agitated and mad when I said no because apparently I was supposed to lie and say yes. At the very end of the phone call, the sales rep on the phone said something along the lines of Clearview being my new electric company, and the sales rep at my door became very agitated when I hesitated and told me I needed to say yes. Also, the sales rep at my door came at 8pm on a Friday night, which is ironic because they only give you a 3 day cancellation grace period whether their offices are closed or not. Overall, this company ambushes you into switching to their service. They lie and misinform their potential customers to get them to switch. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE.
